This was very helpful, but when I generate the slide show for my 45 minute talk, there are so many photos, and they are so big, that the file overwhelms PowerPoint, which becomes bogged down. I-ve tried making multiple smaller slideshows, but then I have to stop my talk to fire up the next set of photos. I could go through and make all the photos lower resolution, but that is unappealing. Any suggestions??

Kevin, I would like to switch from one power point presentation to another. I know I can use alt=tab but would love to use my stream deck buttons to make the transition. I would like to activate Power Point and move from slide to slide in the presentation in stream deck.

I tried this and reached the conclusion that PP does not have this feature. Power Point is a slideshow generator. It is not a video slideshow maker. A program able to make video slideshows would be called something like Microsoft Video Slideshow Maker. Simple.

how annoying - this is a PC version only. The photo album option is not available on a mac version. GRRRR. It took me 2 days to figure out why I couldn't do this on my mac - you should really note that right up front to avoid wasting people's time.

thanks this was explained in the easiest way possible. I needed this as I am creating a memory book. If this works out perfectly, I will create all my vacation and events on a powerpoint photo slideshow.
