When I get past 99 , into 100's there
is a 4 or 5 space before each entry , like
in a song list, for example;
99 Strange Brew (this is how I like the list, just one space)
101 Slow Ride (This is what I don't want for the list, big spaces)
102 Rossana
I tried 'hightlighting , 'no border' , that didn't
do anything. Is there a way to get rid of the wide margin between
numbers and 'listings' once I get into 100 and beyond?
I can't respond in comments, so thanks in advance for any help..

What about sorting a column in a table ? I have in columns 1, a number, in column 2, the name and column 3 is empty (signatures). I click in column 2 > table tools > layout > select > column > Home > Sort > Sort by Name > options > sort column only > I always have to click 2x to get it sorted !? Any ideas (Word 2016)

How do you alphabetize a colum of words (e.g., city names) but you want to number the words 1, 2, 3, etc.? The numbers shoul remain in a regular 1,2,3 order, but the words should be alphabetized.

Can't do it! Under 'Sort by', it says Column 1, and there's blank pages at beginning and none of it is alphabetical, grr.
