That was a heck of a blue pilled explenation of the differences DT. Its often used in conservative circles to describe if someone is aware of how the world works. I haven't seen it used with illuminati conspiracies and the like.
To me it is as follows, the blue pill resembles your avarage citizen like my parents. They believe the news is accurate, think politicians are incompetent or dislike politics in general, they believe they can vote in an election for certain points and that that is a good way of voting. They believe the educational system is to help people be smarter. And to them the world is just day to day life as its always been and politics are just partisan left and right devides.
Lets take the redpill and look at the same situation. These are the people who when something contradictory to their worldview happens investigate rather than dismiss. The kind of people who look behind motives and tend to see reality with a skeptical logical mind rather than accepting the authority as their source
So they notice that the goal of the news outlet is to sell you an idea, ideas that work well for their bottom line even if its misleading at best. They know politicians are actively working towards the goals that benefit wealthy multinationals and the elite since they can invest money into the political outcome they desire. They are devided on how effective voting really is but try to go for a candidate most likely to fix the system. They understand education is quite literally brainwashing children by letting them repeat the given truth until they believe it, even if this may not be on purpose they understand it is the effective outcome of centralized classical education. But most importantly they are aware of the real war that is going on. Not between left and right, but between centralization of power and the decentralization of power. The establishment, elites and businesses all seek centralization of power because the less the citizens can do and the more they are controlled the less likely it is that the citizens fix the flaws they exploit. The decentral side is citizens like me who are the real liberals (Totally opposite of the group that calls themselfs liberals but are actually socialists) are trying to ensure people understand this is happening by redpilling them. Bevause if you understand their end goal is something like china is today and understand the implicagions brain interfacing has on this (In china children already have to wear devices that monitor their focus in class) then you understand its going to end up in slavery if they get their wish. While if the decentral side wins you get a situation like switserland where the public is above the governanent and can force change themselvss so that corruption can't hold ground.
So to me being red pilled has nothing to do with conspiracies. Its about understanding and willing to face the trends in the world and fight for either acceleration of centralization or resist against it rather then opting to ignore and pretend its not happening.
And last and possibly least you got people who are black pilled. Those people understood how the world works and sed no way out anymore. Originally quite a depressing group but then the clown world meme brought some change to that. Now these guys figured its better to at least have some fun and laugh at how redicious the world has become.

I was scared until the end. I was hoping that you were not going to become like so many other linux yt personalities by over using these social media labels. This labeling and tribalism is trivial. I come to DT to learn a positive skill from a no BS friendly person. Please don-t go too far into the 4chan, boomer, zoomer sjw, alt-right crap.

The audio is just ever so slightly off sync with the video and I spent several minutes thinking this was some voiceover playing over footage of another dude talking. plus the voice doesn-t match the face, in my opinion.

Why TF does it seem like anyone who gets involved in Linux turns into a fascist? Shits annoying as hell. FOSS is inherently leftist in principle, but it's not like fascists know how to put together a cohesive worldview anyways.

This terminology are not made for people older than 27, I think. Maybe even just younger people could use it, because gives cringe to see they're trying or forcing using this words just to fit in or look cool.
