Great intro explanation! The SME in my area directed to go watch some YouTube videos first. This one was perfect. Then we talked and I picked up tips specific to how I was getting my data. I am now tasked with training my colleagues. I'm sending them this link as a pre-requisite to my demonstration. Thank you, and I will seek you out when it is time to learn another Microsoft/Excel feature.

Kevin, it is a great video and PowerQuery is very helpful. I follow the steps and get into a problem when I try to close and load the data after the data transformation step. The error message is -The key didn't match any rows in the table-. I try to redo all steps, but still have the same problem. Do you hv any idea how this can be resolved? Thanks for your help :)

Got this error message while saving the power query: -[Expression.Error] The key didn't match any rows in the table.-. When checked, I found this same error message in the 'Customer ID' column as well. Could you please help?

This is an awesome video. Can definitely see the power here. What happens though if the layout from each of those sheets changed year over year? How would you automate so that everything lines up?

I really need a good video that shows how to use power query when pulling a sharepoint list-. Like how to handle the lookup columns that have [List] or [record] in them-. Im getting frustrated

Great content. I do, however, find it difficult when presenters insist on using this formulaic and unnatural cadence of speaking.
