The first thing I did was look up microsoft teams worked with linux. You did not mention if it did. Microsoft's website did not answer that question and instead prompted me to sign in for more information. That was a no-go. So I looked it up while avoiding the microsoft website. Apparently it does work with microsoft but you have to pay to make it useful. Since I don't have any business requirements forcing me to use a ms product the answer was -NO, HELL NO-. Thank you though for pointing out if you had to work with people using ms it is possible.

This video was made because there are many businesses using Microsoft Teams for Remote Collaboration. It's basic setup and usage isn't very clear and why this was made.
Microsoft Teams has increased its adoption because it is included in Office 365 which many businesses use for Email.
-Note: Phone conferencing for external parties outside of your organization requires an extra license.-

The Fedora 31 rpm is broken - Teams identifies the input device but won't record audio, even after manually adding my user to the pulse, video and jackuser groups. The webapp won't work with Firefox unless the meeting has PSTN co-ordinates, so install Chrome and use the webapp it is then.

I just love it when I discovered this week that Microsoft Teams also install on Linux... this make my day and now we just need at least the basic Office365 suite on linux, like Outlook, Word and Excel... the linux software are amazing, but, I never felt it as mature as O365....

Hysterical because I just hosted a Teams meeting for my #SharePoint user group. I had someone presenting on PowerApps. I used Teams on Linux to run everything. I've been screaming at people for weeks to not use Zoom. It is not safe.

Microsoft aside, Teams sucks. It-s super unorganized, hard to find anything and causes more confusion than proving transparency. It-s like trying to keep a conversation with someone while other people are talking

Hello, can you pls help me, my mic is perfectly fine (i use earphones) and when i spek it sounds really low and i need to put my mice very close to my mouth. Do you have any solutions?
reply

how could this not have 'push to talk?' still in 2021????? its literally a necessity to have this basic function. so many times people dont realize they're 'not on mute'.

I have a question. Can You change Your name? I have a complicated name and nobody can say it nor can tell if I am male or female... Loved the video :-) thx

When I connect my mic teams recognises it but then shuts off my computer speakers, so I can't hear what the other person says, how can I fix this?
