Microsoft matches over 9000 for 401k ??? That-s great. I work for Salesforce, and it only matches up to $5000
That after tax thing requires that your company allows -in service rollover-. And not many company allows that.
If your company allows it, then every paycheck you can contribute to after tax and immediately roll it over.
If your company does not allow it, then you have to wait until you leave the company. During that time, your after tax contributions would have grown (due to investment). You will need to pay taxes on the growth.
Good video.

I became a 1099 sub contractor in 2019 and want to know if I can buy let-s say 3 $1k gift cards to give to my clients as a thank you and then write off those gifts for 2019 to reduce my taxable income? Can I also write off car repairs and maintenance since I need to drive to client locations as well as write off the $.058C a mile with those repairs?

Regarding step 2, How can I put $27,500 into an after-tax 401(K) if I am only allowed to put $19,000 401(K)? Are you saying that I can put $19,000 into a classic 401(K) and the 27,500 into a Roth 401(K), so that $46,500 goes into company 401(K)'s per year? I'm confused.

i work at a big tech company in the valley and at our income levels maxing out 401k is a no-brainer. Maxing out HSA contributions is also a good way to save on taxes. Great video!

Excellent presentation. I don't know what we (people) are doing? But all of us should be learning from these tips. Thank you.
