How to Remove All Red & Blue Wavy Underlines I. If its a frequent word, add it to the Dictionary: If its a word such as your name or a place, the best thing to do is to add it to the Dictionary. However, if you want to remove all wavy underlines, scroll down for more! 1) Right-click the word marked as a misspelling and click Add to Dictionary. II. Hide all wavy underlines: The second method is to simply hide all the wavy underlines in all Microsoft Word documents. The third and final method after this is to hide all wavy underlines in a specific document. This second method will not continue to work if you send the document off to another person. 1) Click File in the top-left. 2) Click Options at the bottom. 3) Click the Proofing tab on the left and uncheck the boxes Check spelling as you type and Mark grammar errors as you type. III. Hide spelling and grammar errors in a specific document: This method will hide spelling and/or grammar errors in a specific document and will continue to work if you send the document off to someone else. 1. Follow the first two steps in the previous method to open the Options menu then click the Proofing tab on the left. 2. You word 2013 LOOKS NOTHING LIKE MINE. I am TRYIING to get RID of the VERTICAL LINES in the LEFT MARGIN. I have HAD to THROW AWAY MANY PAGES OF WORK AND START OVER NUMEROUS times to get RID of them. But you tutorial doesw NOT show me a thing as it does NOT match the 2013 I have.

Very helpful, thank you so much. Your commonsense prevails. There is just no commonsense or foresight in those that create these idiosyncrasies as they supposedly update things that were working fine in Word previously.

Actually when I try to type a word in small letters the blue line under the word will come out with the first letter in Large type.
