Sorry but this is not extreme enough. Grab a Supermicro 4029 20-GPU server, throw away the chassis and PSU, build it into a desk workstation built on a solid foundation of 2x6 wood that's been sanded, sealed and black lacquered. Stack it with a pair of RTX Titans, eight V100S cards. a pair of 1600W power supplies, three optane boards, sound card with optical input, 24 port raid card, capture card, 3TB of ram and a pair of 28 core Xeons. Grab four 560 monster rads, 16 140mm RGB fans and two gallons of your favorite piss for coolant. Stealth mount your tape drive and BDXL burner underneath the table. Top off the surface with a pane of thick smoked tempered glass. Then finish the job with two 38 inch displays and suspend them off the back of the desk on vesa mounts. That's how you make a 250, 000 bling bling system LIKE A BOSS.

Geezus, I could build a V2 with TR3 with raided Optane with 970 Pro m. 2 for storage drives with water chillers for ambient cooling for less than the price of one of those cards and it'll get at least 50% of the GPU rendering performance and likely better CPU rendering perf. Oh wait the V2 is bad hardware. Considering it's only 3-5x times faster than a 2080Ti in FP64 compute and is half the price. -_-

Any idea if those EK SLI parts will fit Alphacool blocks? I realize the probability is nearly zero, but I had to ask. I'm running a quad Titan RTX setup for my compute usage, but I had a heck of a time trying to get my Alphacool blocks to work with 2 pairs of GPUs on 2-slot spacing because of overhang and insufficient connector clearance. Ended up having to design my own and have them machined.

It's amazing how one single V100 can achieve 8 tFLOPS DP. That's more than two times the disappointment of the year GPU of 2019. You know, that consumer level card that goes for 550 bucks at the moment. Okay I'm just shitposting. I know they're not at all comparable for a lot of applications. But I have to shill for my baby VII. 's.

Everyone asks and even my co workers ask why i need fast hardware and i always tell them just because i can. And i even say this when i have a water cooled titan x pascal and a 2700x ocd to 4. 2ghz at 1. 375 volts. I currently have a 3900x coming so then i shall be cooking.

Steve I m gonna be honest, the TRX40 Xtreme is amazing but RGB Fusion is trash. You should really use the Zenith board. Yes I know the Teamed 16 phases vs True 16 phases but at the end of the day, they are both 16 phases with no performance difference.

In the B-roll shots of the pc with lower water level in distro block adding churning/air, other than some noise will this affect temps much, or at all? I think it looks really cool, you can see the water flow due to the bubbles.

those v100 are actually really great used 4 nodes of them with 2 gpus each and they way outclassed comparable cpu only nodes but Nvidia almost never takes the full 10k for them as they want to see them used in publications

Using GoPros cineform video codec would use almost 100% of the GPU when rendering, where of course first you'd have to use use adobe media encoder to to convert all the footage to that, also using the GPU.
