Funny. I live in Minnesota so I'm no stranger to cold weather fishing. That's not the funny part. The funny part is that I was ice fishing last Saturday and caught the biggest largemouth bass of my life using a teardrop and a waxworm on 2lb. test line

I promise you this is true: on very cold days, be da. sure your thru hull fittings are not cracked, and the hoses too. This is how out of nowhere you can take on water, and end up IN the water. At that point, you are in big trouble--big trouble

I remember chipping ice to go duck hunting in the days of my youth. Now I firmly believe the only good place for ice is in a glass. Nice trout though.
