I always enjoy your videos. You do great work. I build hardwood furniture here in Montana and what i have used before on countertops and table tops are bow tie inlays locking your boards together. The old timers always put them in. Even though you have glued up your boards the bow tie locks the boards together to they dont separate in the future. I cant seem to find a way to post a picture on here to show you. Cherry is one of my favorites.

I think the problem that you were running into at first is that the dimpling was shrinking the metal of the bowl, when you should have been 'planishing' (stretching) it. Thats why it tried to remain a taco instead of forming into a bowl. Think of the dimple like a 2-dimensional 'crimp'. I think that if you started planishing the bowl area after you formed the rim, you would've been fine, but you would need an anvil. Cheers brother.

Well, Shawn, despite your opinion that the copper sink was a failure, I think its absolutely GORGEOUS! If thats what failure looks like, Im anxious to see what is a success. LOL! Of course, your observance that it wont hold water, it probably needs more work. I would love to have a copper sink, and that wood is so beautiful

Man. Jump around all you want to. I'm the same way. Multiple projects going at once. If they want to start something and finish it before starting something else. Let them do their own damn video. Keep doin you. Screw what everyone else wants. It's not their time invested

Why is the water black from the kettle before it goes in the French press?
If it was a percolator and not a kettle then what went into the French press first?
I just saw this in a previous video but it didn't show the filling of the French press with grounds.

I'd be outside at night listening for wolves howling, and Owls hooting! And looking at the stars. I do that every night, except it's only coyotes I hear were I live.

Shawn, could you please make one hour video of your cabin and a fire in the front? I saw it once in other episode, but it was too short. Thank you
