On approx 9: 36, it is nice to hear the words your responsibility as a father & a husband. We're approx the same age - I never had the luxury of depending on anybody. I'm divorced and had to raise our son by myself, I knew that the day we split up. Never remarried. But I'm not looking for pity. Our lives turned out exceptionally well & I raised a well-adjusted, responsible kid but, I want to publicly praise you for being the man that you are. Our generation, at least in the USA, someone like you is a rarity.
And because people like to assume things, I'm not hitting on Shawn. I'm merely complimenting him as a true responsible, good man. LOL Just like when a man compliments a woman, I take it as just a compliment and nothing more. Okay, going to watch more of Shawn's videos!

Yikes! You need to invest in a good sewing awle for leather. They allow you to use bigger stronger thread and with a little pratice looks great. You probally know that already but watching you do it like I did 50 years ago I remember how sore my fingers got. Thanks fer tha videos Bro, I really enjoy em. I see you like banjos, I used to make Native American Style Flutes, I got a copy of Ben Hunts directions on making em. I can email you a copy if yer interested. Its all handwork frum a book he published on Indian Craft back in tha 40s I think.

How much land have you got there? Do you own the land or can you just set up in the middle of nowhere in Canada? I live in NZ and you have to buy land and apply for permits etc to build. Unfortunately there are no forests where you can just chop down a few trees to make a cabin but I'm looking into how I can do it without it costing me a fortune.

the bread looks store bought, so I didn't quite get that since I bake my own sourdough. The eggs and coffee, okay got that. the dog. loved the dog. But the raisins or currants? what was with that? not sure. where was the maple syrup. am I too detail oriented?

Wanted to ask, have a friend who lives in western MA and its gets real cold in winter. Hes acclimated now so he comfortable inside around 60 degrees.
I know it can get extremely cold where you are so whats your inside comfort temp?
