I love and respect you my man, however youre completely mistaken saying the government is operating for the greater good
No, in fact its working continually to subvert, manipulate and brainwash starting with the youth of today. Hence why media pushes for things diametrically opposed to your connection to nature. Whites are mocked repeatedly for traditional family values as boring & stale, reversing gender roles, any religion with a cohesive nature is mocked, they poison us with genetically modified food and push miscegenation and mass immigration in European counties, push 3rd wave Feminism, Communism, materialism, forced diversity and trans/gay propaganda for children. This may seem like tinfoil hat theory but, I challenge anyone to look into it & be honest with yourself, something is very wrong with society. Want the truth? Check out Way of the World Mark Collett
They work hard every day so you cant carry a gun, own land and live off grid in the very near future. Fact.

People don't realize that we're here to learn, and that often includes struggle. We shouldn't look to others for what we should do. Each person requires unique challenges and must follow their own path, develop their own inner knowing. Oftentimes that path includes much of what we don't want to do but must do. No one ever said it would be easy, only worth it, if you take on the challenges you know you must in order to grow, for we are all living beings that need challenge, motion, connection to stay alive. We are as a multi-varied garden that needs nurturing, water, and light, tender vessels. It's in the growing where we pull deep from the dormant self talents, gifts, abilities that we may have never even know resided there, but we do, and we grow, and then we reach out and down to others to lift them up and then pass the gift along, a bright gem aglow in the night.

Just found your videos. by accident really. Live in York Region but the southern end. love heading north to fish (french river, Lake Obabika, etc) and visit in your neck of the woods. Starting to approach retirement and wondering what to do. This video in particular has caused some further thought.
I have found I am similar to many commenters in that I am just not fulfilled. I'm married, kids one of which is in Uni and the other close to it. Would love to grab a bush-lot with small home and while I find the off the grid lifestyle interesting, I cannot fool myself to think my wife would or that I have the skills to manage it. However, going as far in that direction as my skills and lifestyle would allow would be awesome. Have plenty of videos left to watch and enjoy. Keep it up!

I guess my question regarding the money in the bank question would be this, I can see reducing your needs to a point where you can earn the 10, 000 a year you need to maintain that particular lifestyle as you say. But eventually, you're not physically going to be able to maintain that lifestyle. So what's the plan for your very senior years when you might not physically or even mentally be able to take care of yourself given the lifestyle you've built? Honestly I think this is the big fear factor a lot of people, including myself, have about cutting the golden leash of a 9-5 job and getting out of the mortgage/investment mentality. Would love to hear your opinions.

Love the show. Keep it coming. I think you may need to stop calling oil fossil fuels. Oil is a continuous process created by plate tectonics produced by the pressures of carbon, hydrogen, sulfur and oxygen, that continue to sift through the earths's plates. Look up Abiotic oil and be informed my friend. you will be very surprised. The belief/notion that oil originated from Dinosaurs or squished fish was debunked a long time ago. Think Fracking my friend. We all basically are handed a bill of goods to continue to think this so Oil neocons can manipulate and inflate oil prices every time the Oil masters want more or power and.

I think that's wonderful. But, working together does not really fly with the concept of capitalism or at least in the form that it's practised by big corporations. Big corporations as we know are hte government since they dictate policies by lobbying (the so-called revolving door) this goes on not just in the US or Canada. This is prevalent here in Europe and Scandinavia too. It's less turnover, less consumption and thereby less revenue. As I said that does not fly. That does not mean we should not strive to work together. Do not expect the government or big business to do anything else than oppose it.

fill that void by shopping. you crystallized the crisis of our lifetime right there. Anyone who doesn't buy into that, automatically removes themselves from 85% of human activity, social circles, conversation topics, etc. but good God, I don't want it any more than I want a python around my neck. Thanks for helping me/us process and articulate the truths we observe day in, day out.

That old Red handle bow saw hanging on the outside corner of your cabin in the last few min of this video. I've got the match to it! Lol I was saying to myself how the heck did he get my saw! Lol. Thats the first one i've seen like it. And I mean exactly like it! Age and faded paint and all. Any idea where they came from or age and brand name?

You can sharpen disposable blades, too.
You use the least hairy section of your lower arm, dragging the blade in the opposite direction as when you're shaving. The skin acts as an okay leather sharpening strap. Stroke around 20 times per use or so. I use the same blade for months.
