Layering for freezing cold temperatures while bow hunting for deer. reppenandtearin: I came across a video last year on how to make a quick & easy snow camo poncho that you could throw over your darker camo layers. Might be something to look into! Beats buying a whole new set of outer layers just for snow

Great video Shawn. I can smell the fresh cold snow. Love our Canada! Another storm for Ontario today. Bring on the snow. :) Are you watching ALONE? Keep up the winter videos. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If you start up an outdoor clinic in 2017- let me know. I will be there! Krystal

i get alot of crap for using a crossbow, i dont understand that mentality. a crossbow allows you to make a VERY accurate and VERY clean kill every time. I dont see the issue. Il use whatever i have to to fill my tags.

I haven't found a pair of gloves I like yet. If I wear thick gloves they don't fit in trigger guard of the bow. I don't like having to take my glove off to take the shot, sometime there isn't time for that.

Great video, I'm hunting southern Ontario & have never taken a deer this late in the season, any advice for late season bucks? I only hunt public land & this year has been heart wrenching.

We got pounded with snow here, as much as ever. I need to go look around and see what's up next week, cause that's it for me I think! I'm not super hopeful, but it's worth a shot!

There's a cure for that cold, hunting in October. I'm tagged out by the end of October. Your bow season may be different up there.
