Great video--fascinated to learn about geums--another You Tuber mentioned these also--can't believe I have gardened for 50 years and did NOT hear about them! And I am assuming they are not invasive Also, the lilies you pulled up--are they available at most nurseries I have asian lilies but not this cross you mentioned--OMG--they are stunning!

Question: What is the purpose of the little glass house in the raised bed near the library I don’t recall seeing it before. This was such a great, informative video, plus, you accomplished so much! I’m feeling inspired and motivated to make some headway with a neglected garden patch near my house. Thanks, Danielle!

I'm in WV zone 6b. We haven't had a good rain since June! It's very dry and I've lost several plants and one tree to the drought! I have city water and even though i watered, it just wasn't enough! I love the raiser beds! They look do much better stained and they look better after you doubled them! Have a great day!

We are in a major drought in Illinois too. We recently got an half an inch of rain and more is expected Friday. Prior to this we had not gotten any measurable rain for about three months. I had to water all my shrubs several times. As always. Love your garden and really enjoy your videos.

I have total Geum envy! I’ve tried to grow some for the past 2 seasons with little luck. I’m in zone 8b so I give them afternoon shade but they just don’t thrive. I think they’re such beautiful plants, both for their blooms and foliage texture. Any tips, anyone

Good Morning! Thanks for all the inspiration! I have always planted my shrubs and transplants with lots of water as you did, but here in MA zone 6a we may not get as much rain as you usually do.

I’m curious about why you have raised beds when most of your garden isn’t in them. Also, how do you water a garden as big as yours, especially during periods of drought

No luck with Geums here in northwest Michigan, zone 6. I might try again when I change my watering from overhead to drip.
