What do you get with crispy fried chicken and Korean spicy garlic sauce? You're a click away. cpt: The Chinese restaurant down my street hands down makes the best chicken balls kinda like this. They use almost a tempura like light fluffy batter and it's 90% meat with a thin crunchy crust.
Everywhere else I've been you get a half inch thick piece of batter with no chicken.

Love the show Sam. I'm a Southern California guy that moved to the middle of Iowa, and you can definitely find Gojuchang here at our local grocery stores, in fact there are several Asian grocery stores in the Des Moines area which I support. Keep on doing what you're doing, love all the recipes and have to try this soon. Thanks

Just curious if there was a reason for using potato starch over cornstarch in this recipe vs the honey garlic wings recipe a few weeks back? If I only have the cornstarch would this recipe come out the same, or would you recommend I go for the potato starch here?

Conspiracy theory: Sam is BRUCE LEE in real life!
Did you hear those swooshes when he moved his arms!
This man is a BEAST!
in addition. what's he cooking today? An Asian-style dish!
There's no doubt. he's Bruce Lee

If you double fry bite sized breasts instead of thighs, especially for 16 minutes total, they will definitely be dry. Seems like a long cooking time even for thighs. JMO, but every recipe of his that I have tried, I've been happy with.

I used to be a huge breast fan. no pun intended. until you got me to utilize thighs on my kebobs. and holy shit there really was a big difference in the juiciness of the meat. juiciness put that one on video. lmao

Chicken breasts (fried or grilled) in sandwiches, boritos, salads, pasta.
chicken Thighs in Chinese, and Korean foods, Taco's, shwarmas.
is my general rule.

Can somebody post a link for the fryer he uses? I don't think it's the same electric one he used when comparing three turkey fryers in another video, is it?

I can go thighs or breast meat, I don't mind, chicken or otherwise!
Ooh Matron! Sorry I'm a brit, carry on humour, look up Kenneth Williams.
