Grilled mexican style street corn (elote) 4k ➋➎➊: WHAAAT! Sam the cooking guy Curses? I grew up watching you in Southern California. To learn English, my father used to tell me to write down everything you said on TV. EVERYTHING! Epecially names of ingredients and their origin. SAM, Do you know how frightening it is to spell SAUTE, ASPARAGUS or BARBEQUE when you are first learning English? The following day, I had to go to the library, make a spreadsheet about the words with their photos, and ingredients with their uses. EVERY Sunday Night, I had to make a presentation about YOUR last COOKING show, the words and Ingredients you used and lessons learned! This was my sordid childhood; thank you Sam: )

Good Morning Sam What a great way to make corn and it works so good I did the garlic butter basting and then set up a dipping station at one end of the table and let everyone Create there own master piece and i put the kitchen sink out at the end of the table and could not believe what those Kids made. It was a great time the winner was the youngest with butter basted roaster corn on a stick covered in Nutella and Coconut wow and then a sprinkle and dip fight broke out kids running in the yard sword fighting with there corn on a stick God what a mess and I loved every minute of it. Sam keep on making me Laugh and keep up the Great cooking Show Aloha Ben

Just as a different point of view, I actually treat my children as humans. And they are allowed to watch content with swearing, without seeing these words used in context they will never learn to read the additional emphasis that the words create when some people use them. They know not to use them around people, and they know that they are allowed to use them with their friends in private. I will never understand why some parents try to censor the world from their children as if that will somehow stop them from learning to sware. They are going to do it, teach them the right way.

Although I enjoy your cooking style, however your USA corn looked more like a rocket pop of orange, yellow, and purple. I have to admit, I was about to get pissed, cause you mentioned the American flag and paused with a smirk, as a vet I was posed to commit. But then you followed up with what you mean't. So shame on me for almost jumping to conclusion, that I apologize for. However the food looks fun and delicious, I bet would be fun at a family cook out and great way to get kids into cooking. Thank you for the vids, and keep em coming.

Beanie Weanies are a main dish, a cure for munchies, and make a great side dish too. lol Just throwing that out there. I want to try Elote. As for the people whining about the language, remember this, it's their job to raise their kids, not yours. If they can't tell their kids that they aren't supposed to repeat what they hear on TV/Computer/Playground that is their problem. It's called parenting.

I wanted to watch your video so badly for the recipe and tips but I just couldnt finish it because of the cursing. Please try and eliminate the cursing from your vocabulary its offensive and makes you look less intelligent than I know you really are. Just give it some thought. Im moving on to the next YouTuber for their recipe. Good luck with your endeavors.

Sam. when I grill corn, I start by soaking the whole unhusked ears in the sink, so I get the water inside the husks. Then I lay them - unhusked - on the grill. This steams them for about 8-10 minutes, then I peel them and fold the husks back and tie them into a handle to use to rotate them while they char on the grate. Then I proceed as usual.

Woah, when I was a kid you reminded me of the adults always grilled Banana Boats as desert. Its vague but I remember them wrapped in foil, slit open the top of the banana and put in chocolate chips, small marshmello's and whatever sweets you like, wrap in foil and pop them on the grill. Honestly I can't remember if they were good. Cheers!

Are you just some garden variety, self important left-wing reprobate with a camera? Cause that's all I see. And now you're giving advice to parents on raising their children? How many have you raised. Oh, not applicable. And who is that young and virile little friend you got there?

samthecookingguy plz keep being yourself, I watch it with my kids and I prefer for them to see this with me and someone so down to earth than another video that they just talking nonsense and not educational. Because your cooking is just amazing and educational in my eyes!
