A friend of mine had a Hispanic wife would make this for him on special occasions. I was fortunate enough to get it one year for Father’s Day with him. Literally the greatest thing I ever ate. Did the exact same way as this except she used the whole can of chipotles and filled the can with water to get the rest of the sauce but add that splash that Sam did in this video. She also added quite a bit more garlic. She topped it with everything Sam did but also Avocado and some dry chips so they could be used to scoop.
My goodness, it was so good.

One thing is for sure, It’s never been easier for me to hit the
like button’ than when I watch Sam’s videos!
Sam, you play a very important part in a lot of people’s lives on here (whether they know it or not) by being a genuine and loving father figure, one who not only loves his family and loves to cook, but it’s clear you truly want to teach and help people WANT to cook, not just for yourself, but for others as well.
Thank you for being who you are.

It's weird to me that you didn't show yourself making the eggs. After you put the cheese on the chips, I looked down for a moment, and when I looked up you were adding fried eggs to them. It confused me for a moment thinking I missed something. Do I need instructions on making a basic fried egg No, of course not, but it messes with me to not see it happen on camera. The way it's edited, it took more time and effort to sprinkle on the cheese.

In this series. Can you do a shashuka Also, there are a lot of the same/similar recipes with a twist due to region or ethnicity etc. Would be great if you would so some episodes where you make all the versions of a dish and vote between you, max and chance and whoever else is there while filming on which version is the best And why.

Found a hack after living in Cabo for 5 years. If you are lazy or just don't have time to make salsa. Get a can of red enchilada sauce, and 1 can of cesero or roasted red salsa and mix. Then add to skillet, add fresh tortilla chips from the taquaria (tortilla shop. Layer with eggs and re-fried beans and BLAM.

They resemble equilateral triangles. Remember from high school geometry that an isosceles triangle has two sides of equal length and whose base angles are equal. So all equilaterals are isosceles but not all isosceles are equilateral. Now that the lesson is over, let's eat.

I appreciate your suffering and going to Hawaii for my entertainment.
But where is a delicious, tasty meet accent on those chilaquiles
I see no bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo nothing
You do not have to go all the way to Hawaii just to get some Kailua Pig for me

I love me some chilaquiles. Pretty much every time I go to a Mexican place for the first time, it's my go to item. If they can get me excited with these, I'll go back. It's such a simple dish, so if they can't do it right, it's not worth going there.

Looks Delicious! Sam, have you ever thought of making Duck a l'orange I hunt a lot of ducks each year, and am always trying to do something new with them. I know this is a classic dish, but I would love to see your take on it!

Chilaquiles are the best! Easy easy version is canned enchilada sauce and the Kirkland brand organic corn chips (they are thicker and hold up well! Just use a good canned sauce like Hatch. Chilaquiles are the BEST!

I would like for you to do a week of videos - that are ZERO carb. All meat, proteins - stuff that those of us who can't eat this recipe can still have food full of flavor - not just another steak.

Sacrilege, but when I’m short of time and craving these, I use good, warmed store-bought tortilla chips, a can of enchilada sauce, cheese, green onions and eggs. Scratches the itch pretty well.

You said you're going Hawaii, if you're going to Oahu and can get on the naval station, hit up the bowling alley and try a FRO. It'd be cool to see your take on that.

Next time, make authentic chilaquiles with guajillo chilies, morita chilies, and most important of all epazote. It's not chilaquiles without epazote my guy.

Breakfast Suggestion: From Costa Rica. Gaello Pinto! I had it every day on my trip, and l loved it. Basically, it's beans and rice with an egg on top.

You can put the lime in without squeezing. Parents use to make lime daiquiris back in the day. Whole limes went into blender w everything else.
