You can spend a lot of money at Nobu for their delicious cod - or you can make this simple & quick version at home, and spend the rest on wine, beer, cocktails and a mini vacation. 1st teaspoon of garlic should be 'minced ginger' - sorry about that everyone!

Ok, Sam says this may be the best fish he has ever had. I cant agree more! It was quick, easy, and fantastic! It took me longer to make the fried rice than it did to make the fish. Im pretty sure I spent more time picking out the piece of fish, than the time it took me to prepare it! Sam you rock-

Fish farms can certainly be something to not participate in if they are farming a species outside of it's native environment. Atlantic Salmon is destructive to a Pacific Salmon habitat. Where I live on the west coast I never buy Atlantic Salmon at the grocery store, nor order it at restaurants.

can you explain why you added Minced Garlic, then a clove of garlic? what is the difference, it just looked like you added more garlic after putting garlic
reply

That was supposed to be a teaspoon of Ginger after the sake. Not garlic. This was a mistake, dont add a teaspoon of garlic and then a clove of fresh garlic lol

Man, I am SO making this. I'm glad you set the record straight on farmed fish. there are absolutely people who do it healthy and sustainably.

what's the 3th ingredient of the marinade? (33sek) I didn't really understood it or probably don't know it. Thanks in advance!

Can I do this with thawed frozen Cod from Costco. Also would marinating it with the sauce for over night make this better?
