I grew up in Kuwait so hearing them speak in Arabic really took me down the nostalgic memory lane. I also understand and speak a little bit of arabic and i could understand phrases here and there and realised how little bits of context are lost in translation. Like before the subtitles read we're done in english, she said -zayn- in Arabic which means -good-. And how in Arabic they say -Khallas- to signify the end of anything. -All in all good times haha and God bless the middle East, my home away from home!

Food -IS- the glue which binds every person on this planet. I'm a middle-aged, American-raised, agnostic white guy who only speaks English; and probably have little to nothing in common with either of them. But watching this, I would love nothing more than to sit down with them and eat that sandwich as we engaged in friendly conversation.

I wonder if the lemon peel and Walnut should be put in between the slices of meat before they are pounded? Would that improve the flavor and texture? -What if they were wrapped in a cloth soaked in the minty rose water? Would that be a good way to travel with it?

Nice dish and great presenters. They were both baffled by the name of the dish. - bazmavard- would mean -something you bring to a feast- in Persian, which is not surprising given that there were many Persian servants and cooks in the Abbasid court in Baghdad.

strange how people are crying over a different language even tho munchies has just recently put up videos in spanish. I wonder what these people mind about this one, I'm sure it's not because they're arabs and or (god forbid) muslims. --

It's nice to have native speakers and all. if the audience wasn't intended to be the english speaking world like the rest of your content. Reading subtitles while trying to watch what they are doing detracts from watching the video.

Does not look like a great sandwich if I-m being honest- which is not surprising, a lot of ancient food doesn-t work today, but these two had a great energy, and that lady is just gorgeous. She can step on me any day.

Why do i find girls speaking arabic so attractive. i know nothing of the language, yet a dark eyed girl speaking arabic really draws my attention. --I practice french and russian, badly, but arabic is a mystery.
