Pizza without gluten or cheese! We were skeptical too, but Adam Kenworthy proved us wrong. The New York-based private chef and culinary consultant teaches us how to make plant-based cauliflower crust pizza topped with pesto, squash, and mushrooms. This recipe almost makes us want to go vegan

Its a flat crust with sauce and toppings. Stop being such purists, It's pizza. And most of you probably havent even attempted to make and taste it and simply because its not a mountain of grease and frozen meat its not good. People try new ways to make things healthier and good for those who cant partake in gluten or dairy and you people throw a fit. Its like the dark ages of food and the industry is changing and diversifying to meet the different tastes and needs of the populus. Meat and animal based food production is draining the ecosystem, this is humanity's answer to that globally endangering problem and its attempt to make it good, be positive for the people trying to get your intolerant asses into the next years in a better way.

I don't understand all the unnecessary hate. The pizza looks fine, and despite not being Vegan or even Vegetarian, I'd love to try it. Of course, I also love my meaty, greasy pizzas. Nothing wrong with a healthy option. --Also, why do people feel the need to hate on Vegans, or gluten-free? No one is forcing you to eat it, and I've yet to meet someone who preaches it incessantly. Remember, there are people out there who CAN'T eat glutens, and the gluten-free movement is opening up a lot of options for them. It also has zero impact on your life unless you let it.

I would try that pizza for sure! Super healthy looking. I might have to make me one soon. I suffer from Celiac disease so eating gluten has been out of the question for me for the past 3. 5 years now, I miss being able to eat gluten for that's sure. Biting into a bread flour made fresh hot pizza after a night of drinking at the bar or club does not happen any more that's for sure lol!

Adam (and Munchies, I'd like to apologise on behalf of the philistines below me. I hope they find happiness and tolerance sooner rather than later. --I and the rest of the progressive world stand by your cauliflower substitute. --Finally, I would like to personally congratulate you for your gentle charm and your smile. Keep on being you! :)

the amount of people getting butthurt over a dish being called a certain way, in this instance, pizza. amazing. also surprising: narrow minded people getting caught up so much into semantics, they even forget to puke out their rage about this dish being vegan. hilarious. 10/10 comment section experience.

there are A LOT of recipes of pizza dough with no gluten, made with quinoa, corn, buckwheat, bean flour and so many other flours. Why using cauliflower! WHY! And there are A LOT of recipes similar to pizza but with no gluten: ever tried ligurian panissa? Or savoury castagnaccio? Or potato focaccia?

The problem with gluten free flour as a cook is that the flour doesn't have integrity. Put some gluten free pasta to cook and it becomes mush fast. You need gluten and the elasticity for it to keep itself together and also to have better texture and as you like to say -mouth feel-.

jeez people sure do love to shit on healthy versions of unhealthy food. yeah, it's not gonna taste like traditional greasy pizza, but that doesn't mean it's bad. some people actually enjoy the taste of vegetables, u know

If you guys pretend to eat cauliflower and taste pizza, you're insane. You shouldn't judge this dish on how much it ressembles a greasy and salty pizza, but on how it's both tasty and healthy if you season it right.

Does he have to put his fingers into everything. gross. strangely, i've seen a lot more protests in comments for videos showing colored cooks get overly hands-on. white doesn't make it right.
