i went here for my birthday a few days ago, IT WAS AMAZING! my sister treated me to omakase at the sushi bar and I HAD MY FIRST FOOD ORGASM. We kept moaning throughout the meal, but we were trying to not make any sound. My favorite was their fatty tuna. First time I ever had it and I will pay -130 to have it again

This is a great meal for the privileged! Fresh fish for 300. 00 a meal when trying to taste a variety of the menu. Sushi in New York is for only the -300. 000 a year earners! When you pay a minimum of 2, 600 for a loft what can you expect. Complete and utter rip off but it's ok because the market will bear this BS.

Indecently, why is it considered extremely disrespectful for an American to live in a foreign country for an extended period and not learn/speak the native language to the locals but huge scores of immigrants that have lived in America for DECADES refuse to learn(or refuse to speak) English?

seeing his passion for what he does, his sympathy is just soothing. his story shows us that he's just like us and we also should not give up easily. this video tells so much more than it's title. amazing work.

I'm not really interested in animal rights, but it seems like a superstition that crab loses flavor when it's not boiled alive. Just kill the crab with knife and then boil it, it's a few seconds difference.

Maybe it's just me, but most of the Japanese chefs trained so much harder than all the other chefs, I worked in a Japanese restaurant for like 3 years, and I wasn't even close to touching the sushi rice

Never let anyone bring you down. Don't let them tell you that you can't do this or that. Believe in yourself. Focus and you can achieve your goal. Even if you fail at least it was on your own terms.

This is actually really nice, he pretty much fullfilled his dream by working hard and not giving up. He even made sushi in his dreams XD He deserved to have his own place.

Why do they always say sushi is so hard to master? Cut some really fresh fish, place on blobs of cooked rice, make it look pretty. here's some wasabi. bon appetit?
