Join me on a one day all out Swiss food tour of Zurich We had one full day in Zurich, Switzerland, and I wanted to make the most of it by going on a Swiss food tour, eating as much food as possible, and walking around and seeing some of the most famou sights and attractions in the beautiful city of Zurich. Here are all the details about everything youll find in this video: Zrich, Switzerland Caf Henrici - To begin the day for Swiss breakfast, we stopped to have a cup of coffee, and also I wanted a croissant, but they were all out of the morning already, so I settled for a few small slices of bread. It was excellent. Total price for 3 people - 24. 40 CHF (25. 75) Lindenhof Hill - This is a great place to get a view over Old Zurich, and it puts the city into perspective and helps you get your bearings, and the views are beautiful. Swiss Chuchi - Thank you to Marcel for this recommendation. In Switzerland for a single day, I needed to eat one of the most well known of all Swiss food, cheese fondue. At Swiss Chuchi restaurant, we enjoyed both cheese fondue and raclette, both of which were excellent and the most cheese Ive had in a single meal in a very long time

I miss that in Malta. Fondue and raclette. Fondue is eaten in winter and raclette in summer. It's like a steak in summer. The famous Chipolata sausages are missing. It is important to drink black tea or white wine. Traditionally white wine with the name Fendant du valais. A cherry schnapps should not be missing. The one with the sausage in salad dressing isn't original. The one with the national sausage Cervelat is original. A cordon bleu is with calf. Otherwise it can't be called that. Enjoy. Switzerland has very high prices. Especially in Zurich.

Mark does not love everything he eats. If you pay close attention you will note that Mark is a very respectful person. Even if he doesnt love a dish, he will point out and describe to us the tastes, and different textures of the dish. Hes got a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. Visiting countries around the world and educating us on a countys food culture. Job well done Mark. The fondue looked so delicious I want so much to try it. Thanks

I really like Mark because he always smiles, even when what he tastes is not good. From personal experience I can say that in Switzerland you do not eat well considering what you pay, quality is not present. There is a lot of appearances. Other countries offer a much higher quality of food at a very cheap price compared to the Swiss one.

Its too expensive for French fries and little meat. In 126 dollars, you can have 3 meals daily for 4 days in India, that too in fine dine restaurants. If i would have in place of that restaurant owner, might served you double quantities that too for free.

One thing more, zurich is a beautiful place and very clean. I have many questions, there were no green vegetables in any of the dish. Are the climatic conditions are too harsh to grow some, only potatoes? Or swiss people don't like vegetables?

I eat fondue occasionally, typical german beer fondue with swiss cheese or alternately soft french cheese (along with cranberries or sour marmalade or something for the soft cheese) and nobody ever puts anything on the plates XD

Because of all the comments about the lady at 10: 55 and her evil look: its not what you think. Its her normal resting face. In fact, shes even smiling. Like, Those crazy Americans. No table manners, but nevermind.
