Discover amazing food and drink in Munich, Germany Munich is a beautiful city and in this video Im taking you on a German food tour and we also visited some of the famous attractions and sights in Munich. Cafe Frischhut - This is a legendary cafe in Munich, known for serving schmalznudel, a savory type of German donu. I thought it was alright, but not must-eat. Total price for 3 people - 16 EUR Viktualienmarkt Munich - This is one of the best German street food markets in Munich, with plenty of street food stalls to choose from. I tried a classic Bavarian white sausage and pretzel (Weisswurst 5. 90 EUR) and leberkssemmel, which is a classic meat loaf sandwich (2. 99 EUR. Hi Mark - I have watched a number of your vidos in the past year and enjoy them greatly. Most of what I have seen is when you were in the Middle East - the food of which I am fascinated by. However, great to see you in Munich. I spent/spend a lo of time in Germany and lived in the north of the country for a few years and love German food. It's so good to see your enthusiasm and remarks on the food. You seem to have a rather wide mouth (I won't say big) which is perfect for those huge bites you sometimes take. (Not criticizing - just very jealous) Really enjoyed your meal at the Hofbrau - pork knuckle and asparagus - I love both and the knuckle looked gorgeous You are very lucky to have your job and extremely excellent at it - look forward to more videos from you. All the best.

White sausage is eaten before 11am because a type of innard that spoils quickly was an ingredient, so after slaughtering a pig they brought the 'Milz' to the kitchen and the women made these sausages. They are often served in the water they were cooked in cause it makes a pretty good soup. If you have it that way you usually don't drink anything, if you have it without a light beer is nice.

All the food looks great, but how much of it did you actually eat? I can't believe you ate it all because the portions were so large. Plus you ordered multiple dishes anyway. Did you ask for doggy bags to take what you couldn't manage back to where you were staying? I hope so, because that would have been a terrible waste of delicious food otherwise.

Dont blame him for not eating our food the right way. Its because of our unfriendly and money orientated culture which made us behaving like that(like unfriendly fools. Watch other videos of him and you will notice the presence of friendly people (which is not happening here). For the World I AM SO SORRY thats not us. i am ashamed.

Give me a perfect almond croissant, I'll die happy. My parents lived in Germany, my mom introduced us to a lot German food. Trotters, saukeraut, sausages, black forest cake were some of the foods. Germans know their way around meats and potatoes. Hearty food for a cold day. It's all about ze weiner and ze beer. Danke Schoen.

What a pleasant surprise to see this video. I was in Munich 20 years ago, saw many of the places in your video. The last bit - the cheesy pretzel dip with onions & the huge beer mug - man, brings back so many memories. Thank you for all of your wonderful videos, but this one warmed my heart

Mark. You are a true pro but this food looks terrible. I don't think many people are lining up at the travel agency for the German food tour. Warm beer and bread they say can raise the dead but it reminds me of the menu at the Holiday Inn. (Courtesy of Jimmy Buffet)

You're eating the Weisswurst(white sausage)wrong. You never ever eat the skin Next time either you chew and suck it out of its skin or you cut it with a knife lengthways and remove the skin in one go. It goes off easily. Then you eat the pure goodness inside.

for beginners eating a prok knucke grab it with youre hand by the 2 bones Slide a knife inbetween those 2 bones and split the hole knuckle in 2 halfs (cut the crust from inside out) the rest is a piece of cake. it hurts seeing ppl just chopping away at it
