IM extremely curious how you and your team navigated the complex rules and shenanigans of shooting video in egypt. Egypt is widely known for being extremely difficult / somewhat corrupt in how they approach shooting video, wether professionally or not. Food ranger has some pretty heavy comments to say about it at one point. to the tune of what amounted to being extorted for money. and he isnt the only one.

One question: why do you dig around in the food with your fingers, when others are using utensils I noticed you grabbing fish to put on your rice but the guy next to you used a spoon. Is eating like that polite

That tiny baby Nile Perch being killed just made me sad. A monstrously huge fish if not killed as a baby.
I am a hunter, gatherer, and fisherman. I understand killing for the privilege of eating. I understand what organic/free-range really is and that is sorta horrible. NOT caring for the resource.

What I know about Egyptian food is that you get RIDICULOUS portions. I ordered for two and we ate for four. Then we took the remaining half of the dinner and gave it to some people on the street begging. So hopefully we all came out happy.
