Today I am making crispy salmon fritters with a Bang Bang dipping sauce. This recipe is versatile and the salmon can be subbed for any fish or seafood. This also makes a wonderful hushpuppies recipe without the addition of salmon. Ingredients 8 oz (227 g) cooked salmon 1 cup (130 g) all-purpose flour 1/2 cup (75 g) yellow cornmeal 1 1/2 tsp (7 g) baking powder 1 tsp (5 g) salt 1 Tbsp (10 g) sugar 2 Tbsp pickled jalapenos 2 Tbsp red bell pepper 1 Tbsp (20 g) finely minced onion 1 Tbsp dried chives 1 Tbsp fresh thyme 1 Tbsp (15 ml) jalapeno pickling brine 1 large egg 3/4 cup (200 ml) whole milk cooking oil for frying BANG BANG SAUCE 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 to 2 Tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce 1 to 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp honey Summer: Your recipes are off the chart. I wish I lived in your house! Tonight I made your shrimp tacos and charro beans and it was absolutely phenomenal. even my crazy picky little boy said the tacos were AMAZING!

Girl! That recipe looks so yummy! Can salmon or tuna may work for your recipe, but freshly cooked filet would increase the overall flavor of the fritters. I have a new recipe to cook for my family! Thank you!

That looks delightful. Starving here. I love it when you can change the fish for another kind and that the sauce is made to your taste. Yummy. Comfort food. Saved and shared.

This looks so good, I guess if we used can salmon we should add some of the seasonings you used with the fresh salmon, correct? TFS.
