Do you have a Kimchee recipe? I eat a lot of it but it's really expensive. I like the Kings Kimchee so it's just the Napa cabbage, green onion, garlic, ginger, goghugaro, and sugar. My palate likes that taste since I've eaten it for about 30 years. Only recently though have I started eating it almost daily so it's getting expensive. I've tried two recipes from YouTube but did not like the results at all. Anyway, I think I answered my own question. I'll just use the ingredients on the jar that I buy. It would still be great to see you do some the way your family likes.

I missed this! I watched your video on Pupusa and forgot to watch this. My youngest daughter is married to a young man from Mexico, and she has taught herself to cook authentic Mexican food. She is very good. Her family loves this, so I wanted to make this for them when I go to visit. Thank you for all you do. Looking forward to hear how your doing with your preparing for your surgery. Much love to you and your family.

I have a Fritanga (Nicaraguan fast food) near my house that includes with every meal something called, I think, repollo, I was hoping you know about this salad, because I love it and they stopped making it the same way, change of cook or something. It looks just like this dish, could you let me know if its the same dish by another name? And if you know it and its not the same, I'd love to suggest it as a future recipe!

What is the difference between this and coleslaw? Everything is almost the same but I put celery seed in mine instead of oregano. I love coleslaw and just made some tonight but I never put it in a jar. If it would keep longer I would. I love coleslaw and bet I will love this. Going to try this next time I do so thank you. PS. what is kimchee and do you have a recipe for that? What does it taste like?

Mmm. I gotta try this one. I love the one I do with 1Lg. purple onion, 2 or 3 habanero chiles, lime juice & salt, thyme & oregano to taste. Put it in a large glass jar & let everything introduce itself. I usually put it upside down for about half an hour. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It doesn't really come up too spicy for me. I Love this in my fish tacos.

i soaked mine in hot water for 10 minutes (as per the recipe) before i decided to ferment instead of adding vinegar. i made a salt water brine since apparently i need that? does anybody know if this will hurt the process? i just finished it and will check on it again in a day. hopefully it will be fine.

Love your videos. Make your own pineapple vinegar, 4 parts pineapple juice to 1 part Apple cider organic unfiltered vinegar. place in a jar covered on your counter for a day, then refrigerate for a week before using, the longer the better, works great.
