It looks so yummy! I'm going to make this soon. I'll have to let you know how good I did. I use to make a good red salsa. I have to watch my red tomatoes. They have too much salt for my new diet. So I been looking for some recipes with no salt or less salt. Thank you, I'm glad you shared and your recipe is roasted! I been making some roasted tomatillo salsa but I was adding tomatoes too. I will have to watch you for a good street taco recipe also. Them tacos looked yummy!

I've followed this recipe exactly and everytime it comes out bitter. I've even tried adding a bit of sugar. Only think i can think of is maybe the tomatillos might have been over or under ripe. How do you tell if they are ready or not? I love salsa verda and would love to be able to make it taste right. i love the kind the guy on the taco truck makes. His is very spicy. Also the kind in the bottle called la coasta

I do not like the flavor of jalapenos, but I like the heat it gives out. Is there another pepper that is similar in heat that you would recommend? I just love chili verde but it is never hot enough for me.

My husband has been asking me to make him salsa Verde. I never have, because I don't like Salsa. I made this for him and he LOVED it. Thank You, he really enjoyed it.
