I miss fried anchovies and peanuts so much since my doctor says I have to avoid it for a long time, when he finds out that my uric acid level is high. But, I like watching this recipe just to see Maangchi's way of frying anchovies and peanuts together. Looks yummy

Dear Maangchi, we in Malaysia also have similar snacks of fried anchovies (Ikan Bilis) and peanuts. I want to ask why you did not wash the anchovies first - just to remove the excess salt. Looking forward to trying more of your Korean recipes

When I was younger, my Korean friend invited me over for dinner and gave me this appetizer as a flavour for the rice. Man I was in heaven. Spent years pondering what this was. Bless you for showing us non-Koreans the secret to perfect taste.

1: 07 what are these ones used for normally? I just use them like you use the big ones for making stock to make other things. Are there any dishes that use those medium ones for something else?

Maangchi. we have that to in Malaysia. tq so much for the receipe. like it so much. i skip the peanut and replace it with cornflakes because allergic to peanut. kamsahamida onni.
