What a mess This is a repeat of myself, owners of a restaurant or hotel MUST have first spent several years in the peeling-potatoes/laundry dungeon, the washing-up/cleaning team, etc, before they are allowed to work as a minion-chef or receptionist. Then you perhaps are good enough to become an owner. Telling a general manager who spend up to 70h/w on her job, running around like crazy, they are kind of evaluating her but they are not spending any work hours on their own with real labor, that is so bullshit it aint worth considering. If I ever meet you I will spit at your shoes and walk away feeling somewhat better. And consider me a no-guest ever never

I loved Mandys hard work, workplace diversity, and honesty. I would so hire her for my business if I had one. The owners seem like self-absorbed Cunts, who just blow smoke up ur Ass to string you along. Like Mandy, I would walk out. hey, Ive actually done that the same. Well wusges to her.

I know how Mandy feels. I worked at a hotel for 2 years, I didnt run the place but I did half the work of the entire staff. My bosses were an old elitist european couple, who took advantage whenever they could. And I wasnt even paid for the first 18 months of my employment

Mandy was right to leave, and in a perfect world, all the other staff would have walked out then and there. The owners see themselves as royalty, and Mandy and the rest of the staff are the lucky peasants who get to serve them. Huzzah
