No one likes to stain their chopping board green, and lose all the flavour. Keep the board clean with this brilliantly simple method and practice avoiding bruising and spoiling the herbs. FanThumb Z: it may be out of topic, but Ive been wondering about this for quite some time now. How good would a Completely FRESH Burger be like? I mean On the spot Homemade Buns, Cheese, Mayonnaise; With Lettuce, Onions, Tomatoes, & Herbs straight out of the Garden, along with a Freshly cut piece of Meat.

Sorry Gordon, but no matter how hard you try, you will always lose some of the liquid from the herbs on the board, as you can clearly see you still did when chopping. The amount however can be reduced, which you demonstrated perfectly. But to say no green on the board is just a lie

He didnt emphasize a few things: 1) board must be dry. When you are chopping 10 different things, its hard not to rinse it and do this on a dry board (how do you do that) 2) Your knife must be dry and clean too. and super sharp. The majority of people dont have these elements.

2: 04 he says its a clean board with no green left on it, and no flavour lost. Well look here Gordon there is actually green smudges on the board behind the chopped herbs. The flavour has gone. Damn

Hello I have an suggestion can you please do a video about how to sharpen a knife properly and how to cook a chicken without so much oil please because Im only an amateur
reply

Okay but Id make a way bigger mess on the board doing that if someone startled me and I cut my finger off. I was getting nervous watching those close-ups.
reply

Who cares about green on the board? I never finish the massive herb bundles before they go bad anyway. How much are you losing a few leaves? Big whoop.
