Found a good substitute for the banana liqueur filling! I mashed bananas and microwaved them until they were caramelized, and mixed it with cream cheese. SOO GOOD thanks for giving me another peanut butter recipe hehe to add to my peanut butter addiction.

I think you'll need a bigger cup to measure your head. :-)-
These look totally addictive, and at the same time a total departure from ho-hum cookiedom. I think I'll do a half recipe, because I KNOW I'll eat ALL of however many I make, before they've even cooled down to room temperature.

close to banana liqure take a bunch of bananas place in a air tight bowl add sugar and leave on your counter for about a week. all the fluids ooze out of the banana and it starts to smell like booze what I do for banana bread

thats what my home eck teacher taught us. she was an old school teacher. and not a lot know that dry measure usally does not work for liquids dry is for dry and wet is for glass measuring cups. she was a awsome lady.

-ShadowNam275 Yes! You could even try mixing a little cocoa in with the powdered sugar and use milk for the liquid = peanutbutter chocolate cookies! (They're also good without the icing)

i just made these i didnt have rice crispes so i used honey nut cheerios they were soooo good i had to make another batch thanx for the recipe my family loved it

Awesome! Glad you liked them. I do, too, and so does my dog apparently. Last time I made them, she snuck up on the counter and ate half the batch!
