First time ever I used a box dye I never used before and I actually had an allergic reaction to it and Ive used a box dye once a year every year for 25 years and never had a reaction. My hair burned off I shampooed it 6 times to try to stop the burning. I had to get shots and take 7 different allergy pills to stop the reaction (lasted 3 weeks) Im terrified to touch my hair now and I only colored it because my hair was black and I skipped grey and my hair came in translucent white so it looks so bad. I dont know what to do to color just the white without a dye. And the white makes me look 20 years older than I am. Im about to shave it off. I figured since its falling out from health issues and frying it with the allergic reaction but I dont know. Took me 20 years to grow it 5 feet long and I have everyone in my life telling me if I loose my hair they will never speak to me again. Anyone have suggestions on how I can fix this?

I wonder if the reason why people destroy their hair in a crisis is because thinking about your hair being destroyed is a big distraction, and it helps you get through the crisis because now you have something else to obsess over and regret? Like I was spending all my time thinking about that bad thing, but now I'm spending a bunch of time thinking about this new bad thing. #wereallamess

when my hair got fried bc i went white (admittedly it didnt like all fall off but it was vv dry and kinda breaking so) i did a ginger henna dye (brought back the life to my hair bc its VV conditioning) and after a few weeks went black. everything turned out quite well and quite pretty but i just dont look good as a ginger i couldve NEVER been a weasley xd

Im sorry but honestly FCK the girl with the blonde hair going box dye brown. She has a hair dresser mom who worked so hard on her hair. She could've at least been intelligent and ask her mom to go darker. Thats honestly a slap in the face and disrespectful af. Id disown her for a while lol

I was an assistant manager at Sallys and I was the only(out of 6) employees that was a licensed cosmetologist. I think all employees at Sallys should be LICENSED. Or have extensive training! Some of the advice I heard my employees giving to customers scared the shit out of me!

I used to rip my hair and eyebrows out like that but in like three times that amount when I got angry
(the side note I have severe anger issues and now I cope with it by crying sometimes I still rip out my hair but I try not to)

When my sister was little she would literally rip out chunks of her hair it was insane she would just twist it and pull ughhhh thankfully her hair is EXTREMELY thiccc and she grew out of the habit
