These songs are every bit as OVERPLAYED as they are genuinely godawful. Why they continue to get airtime every waking hour of the day is insane.
And they didn't even mention songs like Stitches by Shawn Mendes, I'll Write Your Name, Perfect by One Direction, Rumor Has It, Hey There Delilah, Exs and Ohs by Elle King, Lucky One by Amy Grant, Broken Wings by Mr. Mister, Drift Away by Uncle Kracker.
You EASILY could've had a Top 20 for this one because damn near every one of these songs needs to take a long break from the radio.

I definitely don't agree with I'm Good (I'm blue) I love that song. Maybe it's over played but it's not one of the worst. There are a few songs that I hate with a passion and it's not really because they are overplayed such as Drops of Jupiter by Train, I hate that song with a passion, I have never once liked it. It's one of the worst in my opinion.

I disagree with most part of the songs in this list as they're clearly not worst songs released over the last decade. In fact, some of them marked my life and I love them so very much. Shape of You, Thunder, 7 Years, Earth and I'm Good (Blue) are excellent hits and I have listened to them several times.

The worst modern song I've ever heard is Dua Lipa's Cold Heart frankenstein of a song. It combines Elton John's songs Rocket Man, Kiss the Bride, Sacrifice and Where's Shoorah songs into one. It just sounds so off and extremely lazy put together remix that is hard to listen to.

I don't understand why Shape of You is on this list. Even as a huge fan of Ed Sheeran, I can admit that it's overplayed. But it was the first song to reach over a billion plays on Spotify. That should count for something, right I was obsessed with it when I was in high school.
