Griffin and nick created the blob in this episode. By summoning it within the grid area with the summoning circle- they-ve created it. When they tried to destroy it, they angered it. When they dive into the aether at the end of the series, the blob becomes dislodged from time. The first time they meet the blob- it-s the blob from that timeline. By summoning a device made to save vehicles from destruction and then constantly punishing it- they angered it. As time went on and they fought and then eventually forgot the blob, the blob became malicious and began destroying worlds. By the time loop that was created here- the blobs final victim before being frozen in time was the wool world. This is the birth of the blob.

This is the first episode of car boys to seriously scare the shit out of me, like I was so afraid of what would happen when the ovo and the blob collided. The music only helped to intensify that fear.
Plus I legitimately jumped and had a mini heart-attack when the blob expanded suddenly with gravity.
What a wild series this has been.

6 years ago, I rushed home from middle school, plopped on the couch and excitedly watched this episode. Rewatched it many times since, its my favorite. 6 years later and I am not a child anymore. Rushing home to watch these episodes was my favorite, feels like yesterday.

The brilliant sound editing really makes these videos shine, I can feel the evil of the blob crawling in my skin as I try to hopelessly stop it's inevitable indoctrination process that even the reapers from mass effect can't match in power

First Nick -inherited- the ability to simulate the blob, then he continually avoids using the cannon, so previous episode when the two of them asked if the other was still there. that was when Nick was replaced with a blob-clone.
