its 2017. the facial expressions and lip movements are atrocious. EA could have atleast made some effort to make it more believable. To be honest a story and characters are not even required. just give us the cars, give tons of races and the open world to explore. more than happy to do it. instead of wasting time on these half-arsed animations they could have put more cars into the game. here to race not watch another shitty Fast & Furious movie.

So. basically. the thought that this would somehow be a Burnout game thanks to the sweet takedowns shown during the E3 premiere are all dead as it's obviously more of a racing game. Then, they take all the cool shit you could be doing, like driving off a ramp truck in a 2 million dollar supercar, and shove it into a cinematic rather than have you do it yourself. Yeah, no, this game looks properly stale.

Now I'm grateful you guys have a whole 20 mins vid on the story and gameplay but whoever is driving has never played a racing game, I mean the dude wasn't even accelerating through some the corners even at such low speeds! I could put my 5 year old cousin in front of need for speed payback and he'll most probably drive better

Frostbite sucks for driving games. Its good for Battlefield series and Fifa but here it just doesnt feel right for me. Anyone who has driven the car a bit faster in real life will tell you - its nothimg like that in this game. Im not about making it 100% realistic but for gods sake make it feel like a car at least.

They got bryans skyline lol this is the fast and the furious game we wanted the franchise to make. Thanks ea for doing other peoples work. In honesty I still dont like the aspect you can find cars on the map. I prefer buying them with credits. That mechanic Is cheap.

Couldn't give a shit about the driving skills of the player, don't know why so many people are complaining about that. I'm here to see some pre-release gameplay so I can see what the game looks like, I like what I see, and so I give the video a like: )

There were 2 things that I hated of the previous need for speed. One was that handling of cars was horrible. The second was the glue effect that cars were always tailing you even though you were going way faster. I hope this one is better.

Goodness, the game looks great and a good improvement over 2015 but I have to agree with everyone else, whoever is driving isn't very good and it's a little annoying to watch. Thanks for showing this off either way!

Is this even driving? But it seems the physics actually allows you to do races without arcade-like drifting in every corner- some kind of circuit grip racing style, but definitely not something like this video.

For people talking about how bad the driving is, the person may not be used to playing on PC/Keyboard, as you can tell by the jerky movements instead of a controller or wheels smoother movements.

The voice acting is terrible. Those -actors- don't shut up for a second. All those cutscenes and audio files will only take up space on the hard drive.
