I can see why people loved her performance in a star is born but really she was just playing a version of herself; a singer struggling to make it on top. I thought the 1930's version was excellent
Again, in AHS, she was playing a version of herself, it was all glam and showy like how she is on the red carpet.
Don't get me wrong, she's very talented, her singing, ability to write her own songs and playing the piano and guitar but she's not the best actress imo

Ive never watch her act in anything. I just watch the joker 2 trailer and said to myself oh no, shes terrible. In the trailer her voice over lines sounds flat and monotone. She seems a bit old and flat to play Harlequin. I feel like casting her is probably a safety move to prevent being canceled or some type of backlash on the movies violence or themes. Scared money dont make money.

I think the 2nd and 1th should be switched. You need to acknowledge that Gaga as Countesses was at her beggings as an actress and she still delivered the character so well I would believe her she is a vampire. But filming A star is born she already had more experience and for sure acting coach for every scene. Also she played like. almost herself.

Its not really acting if youre playing yourself. I have yet to be impressed with her as an actress - she was wooden on AHS: Hotel and she was fine in ASIB, but there was also the part in that movie where she played a very flashy Gaga-esque pop singer which I felt detracted a bit from her performance.

I don't know what people are saying for her role in House of Gucci, but i watched it and honestly it was one of the best movies I've seen. Lady Gaga nailed it and her accent was spot on, as she sounded preety much the same as Patrizzia.

Are you guys serious? I dig lady Gaga acting ability however you were reaching seriously. she didnt speak in the sopranos and quite a bit of these videos she wasnt in the scenes for five minutes or less smh
