The thing I love about greys (from a male perspective) is that they don't force all this down your throat like it isn't blatant that they are promoting feminism, but the way they do it is really smart, the only issue I have with this show was Maggie talking to Amelia about the racist stuff, and at another point (correct me if I am wrong) but someone was complaining about how hard something was for them and the she went on to say how hard life was for her because she was black, which I don't have a problem with, but they way she did it was like she was saying that the other person's experience wasn't as bad therefore they shouldn't be complaining which obviously wasn't the Intention but was the way it was perceived

Feminism has helped women, and men, realize their self-worth. Traditional roles need no longer be played: the matriarchy, the patriarchy, even monogamy are going by the wayside. Women and men know that they can have equal roles in any relationship. Even in romantic relationships, Throuples are now rising in popularity and acceptance. Marriage is no longer required. Madonna, Oprah, Ellen, Michelle Obama, and Kamala Harris are all forward thinkers who are at the cutting edge of societal revolution.

WHAT? You mean the cringy pick me, choose me, love me monologue Mer said to Derek didn't make the cut for MOST FEMINIST? Because of this, I was so proud of her I can live without you, but I don't want to speech. It showed she knows she can be independent, but has enough faith in Derek and their marriage that she doesn't want to let go of something that can still work, especially with kids involved.

I mean, I love Amelia and she deserved a very high spot after successfully detaching herself from Derek's shadow. But this video demands update. With One, Amelia not accepting Link's proposal, two, Jo taking up her real name, standing up to her estranged husband, and three and definitely the top, that powerful hallway scene with the rape victim in S15.

Honestly this show is more and more a war on men and white people. The earlier storylines just made you feel and you cared about the characters and storyline, however now it just feels like a constant assault of political and human issues at every turn. They arent woven into the story and characters anymore. It cheapens the issues.

Cristina's speeches are the ones that I truly respect and love. I respect them because she always succeeds in explaining her personality and beliefs and as someone who is anti-nuclear family (not having children is ok and marriage is far from necessary.
She also reminds me of my Aunt who values her career over her romance.

I think the most horrible considerate thing that I can do is to rewatch this and reconsider what I dont understand. I think theres a lot of reasons to respect myself for saying I dont understand all of this yet but I want to and it just makes this all more watchable. I am considering buying the book about Greys Anatomy.

Can someone seriously tell me how murdering an unborn child. Abortion is murder not only that but Owen should at least have had a say since it was his child too. How is Abortion and killing a child a good thing. Oh yeah thats right female privilege

The fact that Owen started to act out and yelled at Christina when she didnt want a kid upset me like it is her body and she is more focused on her career and there is nothing wrong with that and he really upset me the whole show really!

it deeply angers me on how Owen treated Cristina. She didnt want to have his baby so he cheated on her? justified his actions because she repeatedly said no to a baby, he undermined her and its not ok, Own is an awful character

Meredith thrived not because of Derek's death but because Cristina left, and while yes Derek was away, she then had switched her focus to her work, nothing wrong with that. nor is there nothing wrong to multi focus on family.

I remember when me and my boyfriend were talking once, I told him that exact same thing. I can live without you, but I don't want to. He said the same. We're happy. We're independent. And we're together through it all.

I respect yang's decide Not to have or want kids but she should had been more careful to prevent the pregnancy especially after getting pregnant by Burke before abortion is not a form of Birth control!

When it comes to the men on the show in terms of feminism Jackson takes the cake. Both showed in this top 10 but also him talking to Cathrine about equality when he leaves the show is everything.

The part with Cristina not wanting kids, thats fine, but thats a conversation you have before you get married. Not telling your husband that you dont want kids after you are already pregnant

5: 48 this was one of the moments I actually realized that I didn't like Derek and he is my least favorite character. That's why his death didn't affect me but Meredith being sad did.

Derek was a terrible mate. He is a cheater and a liar, he was abusive and overbearing I never understood why Derek and Meredith was this ultimate picture of love. He was horrible.

I have my person like Christina and Meredith and she's more valuable than any partner I've ever been with. Also, I think Miranda is someone all women should aspire to be

its amazing that none of the maintenance staff were ever women. but then again women leave all the hard stuff for men to do and then complain for equality.

That Amelia moment shouldnt count. She had a brain tumor herself and probably wouldnt have done that surgery if she didnt. Also she blinded the woman!

Greys is a very feminist show. Sometimes its subtle and sometimes its blatant but the feminist talking points are pushed quite often in this show

As much as I hate Izzie, I freaking loved when she stood up for herself there. She was truly such a powerful queen there.
