There was a woman with a beautiful long red hair and Kyra had them cut it all off and the woman was understandably distressed it was her crown and glory and then Tyra said it had to be cut shorter this seems to be a tactic of hers if someone has a really beautiful hair I guess because Tyra wears wigs all the time and probably involve underneath all that. But I remember thinking what a shame that woman lost all her hair because it didnt add anything to her face it didnt make her a supermodel or anything and truthfully if somebody doesnt feel good about themselves theyre not gonna models well and as far as email changing their hair why cant they just wear wigs you know what whats the big deal I I do think Tyra is it really nasty and does this for rating purposes to see girls hysterical over them losing something that they had all their life and that girl that said she look like a boy was exactly right and and that was hideous she didnt look good at all I didnt go along with her personality or who she was noTyra is a real mean woman

Id cry too if I got all my hair cut off. I felt so bad for Terra, I think she could have done well if they just let her get used to the cut. She may have ended up liking it. Sometimes I dont like my hair right after I get it cut, but eventually the style grows on me (no pun intended)
To send her home without giving her another chance was a low move. And her sisters reaction, watching them say goodbye to each other, was just heartbreaking. They had such a good energy together

When I was young I modeled. I did a hair show for a well known hair company. They chopped my hair off and dyed it like red orange. I knew about the color but they said they were only cutting like two inches off. And cut wayyyy more. I now have serious issues with getting my hair done. Hair is such a psychological issue in ways that people genuinely dont understand. Tyra doesnt have to do the drastic cuts but she chooses to as a way to bully women.

i really dont like the words you use for a lot of these situation. some words you choose to say just dont sit right with me, they make it sound like these girls were over reacting and sounds very catty. Fo porter cried cause jay spoke up about it right in middle of photoshoot full well knowing how she felt and he pushed her into crying. there's multiple examples of you wording it wrong to me, none of these girls should have been made to do this.

Tyra was jealous. Point blank. Tyra's real hair is thin and wispy from years of wearing wigs. So she would always come for women who had a beautiful healthy head of hair. I stopped watching it after season five when she cut that girls hair and made her look like a man. She took diversity and choice from them, because pixie cut looks can be achieved with weave and wigs. Tyra was and still is toxic as hell. That's why Naomi came for that ass.

It started to feel pretty fast into the airing of the show that a lot of the makeovers were sort of done more for the shock and drama aspects and less for the genuine feel that it elevated someones look. I just dont understand how they have a popular show like this and didnt even have the best stylists doing these hairstyles. Its like they found volunteers off the street who said they can do hair as there were too many mistakes with the hairdos. Not only that but these women received no empathy or support whatsoever from these judges, they were nasty to them.

They should accept the girls as they are and not change them! Improve on what they have! I would walk out! That girl should have walked out before they cut her long hair, but I am glad she walked out in time before they completely massacred her hair! Good for her!

Cassandra let them cut 2 feet of length and bleach it and then left when they wanted to cut 1 more inch off. She should've left before they ever touched it. But I cant judge I wasnt in her situation and they were kinda playing games with her when she was already vulnerable

The only other person that I hate besides Tyra is Jay. Not only does he hash out emotional abuse, hes also disrespectful to all the contestants that oppose him. Maybe he should master in manners instead. I hate to think what would happen to his spouse with how he is.

I would never let these people touch my hair like this. I love my curly short brown hair. I can handle it getting dyed at most since I've done that before, but don't come near me with scissors ever! I will decide when to chop it off again.

I liked a few of the shorter hair cuts styles like fo's and honestly cassandra's (specifically the Mia farrow one, not the messed up one) but the judges treated them horribly for having a normal reaction to a drastic and unexpected haircut

I think they did Cassandra dirty. I think they were jealous of how long her natural hair was and wanted to see how she would react asking to cut it off. And she knew that and decided to leave.
