Another one with a touching ending that hardly anyone remembers now is Geppetto, Disney's first live-action musical. It's a retelling of the story of Pinocchio from Geppetto's point of view, and it ends with Stromboli trying to take Pinocchio away because he signed a contract with him, so Geppetto sings the heartbreaking song Since I Gave My Heart Away, saying he will give Stromboli everything he has as long as he doesn't take Pinocchio. But Stromboli refuses, which leads Geppetto to beg the Blue Fairy for one last wish, that if he is never going to see his son Pinocchio again then she should turn him wooden as well. She instead turns Pinocchio into a real boy, and chases away Stromboli. Then Geppetto and the townsfolk reprise Geppetto's song from earlier in a heartwarming finale, as the Blue Fairy magically changes Geppetto's toy shop sign to say Geppetto and Son. It's so cute and it gets me every time

Quasi has to be the victim of tragedy! His life is pure tragedy! I feel so bad for the poor guy, his life is so sad, its not even Disney character sad! His life is storm after storm after storm all day his life is a storm of sadness! since when is there any fairytale like happiness? Never. Poor guy! Just thinking about his entire story right now and I wanna cry. I just want to give Quasimodo a big hug, and tell him that its all gonna be fine in the end, or I could just take him home with me, and take care of him as best as I can. If I could just take any Disney character home it will be Quasimodo! I would take him home and comfort him that would be the first thing I do. Because the young man has gone through so many storms in his life! It is not even funny!

It's so emotional when you see, after all the times the other toys believed Andy moved on, Woody didn't, and the fact that Andy held on to Woody just spiked the emotion because it's almost like he knew Woody truly never did give up on him, and when Bonnie waved Woody's hand, it hit Andy as if Woody himself actually waved and I can only imagine how Woody probably wanted to say something to Andy his entire life.

Do I have no soul, because I've never cried at the end of Toy Story 3. I thought it was a great way for the story to end (didn't know about Toy Story 4, and I found it satisfying. Coco is the one that has me in tears every time.

It was not the ending, but my son cried when he was 3 and saw the train scene of Spirit: The Stallion of the Cimarron. Watching him cry for the fate of the horsie (as he called him, brought tears to my eyes as well.

I totally agree with you about Toy Story 3. The ending in Toy Story 4 is devastating, but Toy Story 3 is the true ending to the franchise. As Buzz said, their mission with Andy is complete.
