unpopular opinion: jade is a better partner than beck, jade gets jealous easily because it's easy to imagine beck going out with other girls.
At the karaoke place, when the girl was flirting with him, it was cat who told her that he had a boyfriend. It's not her job to say that, it's Beck' s.
And when jade burned her hand, beck was just chilling on the cinema seats. and in the first episode when they were doing that method acting exercise with the alphabet thing, when tori said kiss me, beck could've said anything else that starts with the letter L saying to not kiss and instead he said lets do it IN FRONT of jade. When Jade got hit on by guys she turned them down, when beck got hit on by girls he just like went along with it. Jade has parent and attachment issues, she was scared to lose him. That's why she's seems like the toxic one in the show.

Ive started rewatching Victorious to relive my childhood, and yikes its so different watching it now as an adult. Like, as much as I hate Jade's attitude shes a terrible person, and Becks relationship with her is soooooo unhealthy. And thats one thing that I hate in media these days. A relationship on tv can have a woman be downright abusive to her boyfriend, and its played for laughs instead of being shown as abuse, whereas if a man ever acted like that to her boyfriend and it was supposed to be funny, there would be an uproar. Im not saying thats what Jade/Beck is, it just made me think of that, and that whole thing pisses me off to no end.

Jade's character developmentbis amazing! Its great to see how she goes from insecure to being mature and nicer, and beck helps her do so, their relationship wasnt perfect, but they sure loved eachother more than anything
