I think weirdly Ladybird by Greta Gerwig and Licorice Pizza by Paul Thomas Anderson work as soulful Gen Z films as well, even though the times they are set in would be more appropriate for millennials or boomers, as Ladybrid is set in 2000s Sacramento and Licorice Pizza takes place in the 70s. However, the characters of those films seem to pass similar ideals corresponding to Gen Z's values, view of the world and perceptions of themselves. They feel very Gen Z to me even though they're not set in our times.

Umm this is silly I mean OK you got a handful but some of these are late millennial, cusp movies like The Fault in Our Stars came out in 2014 and is much still millennials barley can see it being anything z but I guess it's because of the who cusp thing. Movies like say DOPE and Fault in Our Stars are very well young millennials cusp movies not full on z but I guess it's because it's so early there is only a few films you actually have for the video

Im born in 1999 but identify more with the generation before me. Also I didnt see any of these movies and dont know why I should. I know Im only 20 but I am an adult. And my life and my personality are better fitting in with people 10 years or more older than me than people a few years younger. Why should I watch teenage movies. Thats not my world anymore and I feel like it wasnt for years

Idk if this counts but another Jacob Trembley movie that I think fits the bill is Wonder. About physical social acceptance from classroom pears from a late elementary perspective. The bullying is raw and real and no matter how old the viewer, we've all felt that type of discrimination portrayed.

Kings of Summer? The Art Of Getting By? If I Stay? Boyhood? Also, I don't think Spider-Man Homecoming should be on here and neither should The Fault In Our Stars (even in honourable mentions) Other than those two, this was really good to be honest.
