If I could ask Ellen just the one favor by meeting a couple of fellas that quite literally saved my life with their music time & time again, I would BEG to meet the two remaining Monkees: Mickey Dolenz & Mike Nesmith. I'm 42 and have been a Monkee Junkee since I saw my first re-run with my father at the age of 8yrs. Through not only a rough childhood but also throughout an equally trying adulthood, the music of The Monkees as well as their shows gave me something really neato to cling on to while experiencing abuse both verbal & physical. The Monkees ARE, in my opinion one of the reasons I believe I'm still here. period

So sick of everyone thinking Ellen is the be all end all! Ask her about the WISH kid, that wanted to be on her show, and she said sure, but you can't be ON the show, you can only visit. And you won't meet Ellen. Yeah, she's awesome. Wish kids are fighting life threatening illness. How many of these people are? She's a hypocrite.
