Excellent news. Regarding a wood corner, first thought that came to me was making a pallet wood wall. Hardware stores, appliance stores, and even stores like harbor freight are always giving out pallets. Although the quality of pallets from Harbor Freight lacked in my local area but as long as they have HT stamped on them they are safe to reuse. You can make your own pallet buster out of scrap wood and use construction adhesive or something to stick them to the walls. I would just hit the wood with a 50 grit oscillating sander since you aren't looking for perfect. For staining you can just use stain from the store or make your own from common stuff like coffee, tea, or even steel wool soaking in any type of vinegar for over 24 hours in a sealed mason jar or glass jam or peanut butter jar. The latter has quite a few guides online. The former you just make it and apply! Then you can just spray some clear coat or poly so the wall is easy to clean when it comes to it.

Yay to you man. I just moved myself yesterday and even though I have much-much-much less stuff it was really exhausting. I have package boxes still laying around and unpacking is real slow, because all the supporting stuff like internet, orders of new stuff, going around to do paperwork are taking a lot of my time and are excruciating. Hope you can win this thing and bring more content soon!
