They just don't make games like these anymore. As tacky and ridiculous as they may be, they harken back to times where games focused on trying to be as fun and entertaining as possible. Back when we had such a wide variety of game-styles to choose from all in the same genres. Was it over-the-top and cartoony? Sure. But being over-the-top and zany is something that is severely lacking from today's modern space.

I completely forgot about the outlaw series of sport games. Me and my brother spent hours playing golf and tennis. They-re great party games. And the characters are laughable. I used Iced Trey a lot for the corny relationship with his caddy. And the boob physics are down right hilarious. I think I should get a copy to get drunk and play this with him for old time sakes.

LOL, nice: 3 - bit unrealistic though. Take it from an ex stripper: none of us are this bad at melee combat, and - more importantly - nobody does pole dancing in jeans. Not because it looks dumb, it's actually physically impossible to do climbs in that kind of clothing. Good thing most of us are working as programmers or doing science now. ;)

Hey cool one of the games I worked on. The hypnotix team was pretty small, maybe 7 or 8 of us. The outlaw games lol. Yup we made volleyball and tennis too. Commentated by steve carrell which was cool. At least the games gave enough attention that the company was bought by EA so I got to work for a few years too.

Hi please do Christmas Carnage 1994 PC (Xmas Carnage) because it is a different game with the same name and was hard to find.
I got it from bbs when I was a kid and have distinct memories of it because it was a gory 3d shooter. Maybe someone else remembers this -bad-game?

My main history with Outlaw Golf is I got a double pack on the Gamecube that came with it and this one game where you cast magic using Skittles. Like. actually brand licensed Skittles. But I definitely loved seeing this Christmas themed golf wonderland from you.

Wow the -humor- really is tasteless and crass. Weird how I found this kind of violence much more distressing than anything more gory and extreme. The way the caddies just stand their awaiting punishment like abuse victims makes it seem that much more wrong.

I absolutely find the Holiday Hare version of Carol of the Bells to be so damn badass. Imagine, Krampus is out to ruin the Christmas season for the world, and you set out to set it right again. And come to find out, you have to save the world, too!

Still have my copy of Outlaw Golf and the first nine holes of xmas. Didn't even know there was a second one. OG was a really solid golf game, just with over the top silliness thrown in. Makes me wanna bust out the ole Xbox and slap some balls around.

Great episode! I grew up with the og xbox and amped (the snowboarding game shown at 0: 25) and i remember the extreme sports craze. I feel like games like these and tony hawk-s pro skater games shaped my sense of humour and my taste in music.
