The -witchcraft- is audio from an episode of Lights Out, a horror/science fiction anthology that began in 1934 under of Wyllis Cooper. In 1936 Arch Oboler took over production duties, and the program lasted until 1947. It would be produced for radio from 1947-1949. - It's most memorable for having really graphic special effects sounds. human beings being turned inside out, etc. -
The episode you have is -The Chicken Heart, - in which a tiny piece of chicken heart has been kept alive in a laboratory, until it starts to grow, and grow, and grow. until it consumes the world. -
Hans Conried stars as Dr. Calvin, the scientist who was experimenting on a chicken heart, before it became the chicken heart.

I found a Sony blu-ray player with the remote control and a surprise blu-ray movie inside for 10$. I was looking for months for a dvd player to watch some old movies with and lucked out with that find. It has an Ethernet port so I hooked it up and updated the firmware. I happen to have a Sony Bravia 4k flat screen and a Sony 7. 2 audio video receiver so the Blu Ray player talks perfectly to them both using the HDMI cable. The remote that came with the TV controls everything with no programming needed. Best find ever!

Everytime you show a Goodwill Store i am triggered by it's logo.
In Germany and Austria there is a campaign to raise the acceptance for truckers on the Autobahn, which is called -LKW friends on the road- (you can google it) and they use exactly the same brandlogo like Goodwill does, just in yellow instead of blue. And until today i am asking myself how this could happen, how can two different brands, from different parts of the world, have the same logo without no one talking about it.

I've just watched all the thrifts back to back over how many nights it took. Watching this now over breakfast. I am sure im not the first to mention the irony of this wonderful series. That all this mans stuff is destined for, no doubt at some point. Back in the thrift store from where it all came. Crazy world - I hope it never ends up e' waste in a bin -WE all need to reuse and stop this crazy pursuit of better and more. We have enough already this program points this out beautifully.

I absolutely love watching your thrift episodes! I was an avid thrifter back in the states, would go almost every week. I live in Japan now, which has Hard-Off, a similar type of store. Doesn't have the same trashy Goodwill vibes, although have still found some good stuff! Which by the way, on the subject of that, if there's anything that was Japan-exclusive that you're on the lookout for, just let me know and I'd be happy to watch out for it and send it your way if I find it!

those math clocks have become something of an ongoing joke among my friend group. when we were in grad school (math phd) we all were gifted that same clock from different family members and whatnot, and I've since noticed it among many other math departments across the US -- seems that no one wants to admit whether they actually bought it for themselves or not, it's just a -go to- math-related gift that people think will be fun

I had that exact Let's Ride collection when I was a kid! I played the hell out of those games! I am hoping to one day find a copy myself. Usually you can only find the set with 2 of the games, Equestriad/Riding Star. It's a lot harder to find the version with Championship Season bundled in, as it was a game available through Pony (which was a horse-based subscription box! Very cool stuff!

Cinnamon Pine Berry is a pretty lush fragrance. If you ever want come thrifting in Scotland, or 'Tatting' as we call it, there's a wealth of recycling centres here and you'd always get a warm welcome and a cozy place to stay.
Thanks for all the, well, pretty odd (ware) style of YT entertainment!
Peace and may the junk piles be good to you -

Oh, a Stargate Altantis laptop near the end in the pictures. Wonder if it was screen used or just some fan who slapped on one of those stickers on a same looking laptop. I have a laptop that looks identical to those in SG Atlantis. Maybe I should bring it back out from storage and get my hands on one of those stickers: )
