Athelairius, i can't believe you of all people didn't see the biggest clue it was given in -Wrath of the Lich King-. You all tend to miss view the actual things characters says. And this is coming from somebody who does not play the game, only is watching the story line. Re-watch -Wrath of the Lich King- cinematic and pay attention what the -Jailor- tells to Arthas. -So when my time will come to an end, you shall be king. - Arthas was delivered to the maw, so when you will destroy the jailor he will become one with the Arthas, Like Tyranda, Arthas will become the Avatar of Death (Jailor, just like Tyranda is the avatar of life (Elune. Jailor has forseen his death, actually he is counting on that. Probably he will merge his essence with Arthas. Question is who will be in charge, Arthas or the jailor

You wanna know something? Because of the drought that's been happening in the shadowlands, Ardenweald's heart isn't strong and that was the thing that kept the maw a secure prison. But since the heart is very weak now the prison (the maw) is not as good as holding people in.
This might be the only reason why the player can leave the maw in the first place because of the weak heart.
So that raises the question of what would happen if all the mortals part of the ardenweald covenant get the anima necessary to restore the heart of the forst back to its former strength?
Would we be stuck in the maw if we go in there once Ardenweald is fixed?

Well, I have to say that I knew Denathrius was a bad guy. He had all the hallmarks. Charm, charisma and the casual attitude towards others. Pretty obvious really.
Revendreth is very cool though and Denathrius is way more cool than Sylvanas in my opinion, though I'm sure many will disagree.
I do play because of the Lore as much as anything else. I think this particular expansion is actually good if you approach it in a balanced way and not just as an excuse to raid and get gear. There is so much more to it than that.

The venthyr are kinda overly chill aren't they? I don't know if those tension breaking comments they keep making in the middle of serious and dramatic dialog is real or not, but if it is, idk if I like it. (Then again, this game isn't exactly known for being overly serious. So I won't complain too much) Like, they sound like they're making light of the situation by cracking a joke or saying something that comes off as -Oh well. -.

If the Winter Queen does the same this will be a huge threat. Only Bastion and Maldraxus will defend Oribos at least they are warriors, i hope sylvanas is playing Game of Throne because jailer will fail, How? i dunno but he will. The worst should be the death of Sylvanas against Tyrande, since i have no concern about Tyrande it should be a huge disappointement.

I wonder if, besides Garrosh, we're gonna see Illidan there as well. He kinda also started his quest of power with the best intentions, except the night elfs highly dissapproved of him using demon/fel power. Well, that and the numerous lives lost in the process.

The jailer is so lame compared to big daddy d. -No one escapes the maw-, I-ve free-d like 500 souls from torghast and rescued a shitload of people, the jailer in my opinion is one of wow-s lamest villains and Denathrius one of its best.

In my opinion,
The Jailer may be the main antagonist of the shadowlands expansion, but Sire Denathrius is a better character, is more interesting, and reminds of Dracula from Castlevania

i think this buy far the least interesting way they cud have used enathrius as a carakter. having to work with an opressive regime woud have ben a somewat interesting story.
