The Runecarver is 100% Primus.
#1 His voice. Eternal ones have this deep withering voice. Although his voice may sound different than Primus that could be because of his weakened and tortured state.
#2 Primus is a master craftsman.
#3 He knew the jailor's plan first. Therefore paid the price by getting chained in torghast and being forced to do the crafting for Jailer's army.

What if the Runecarver is actually The Primus? We know that the primus's apprentice is adept at forging weapons and armor so it's not far fetched to believe she learned it from The Primus who was an expert at that, that's the reason he might've been kidnapped by the Jailer to force him to forge weapons for him.

So Blizz retconned WC2 and WC3s long arc of Nerzhul defying the legion, forging Frostmourne, Plate and Helm using the universes most powerful artifacts to save life with unlife. for a dude in a oversized helmed spitting on chunks of randomly mined iron and ash into legendaries.

Just realized Baine has an -In and Out- fast food restaurant joke. Animal style = secret menu item for a burger with everything on it. Makes sense since In and Out is a southern California staple, Blizzard is in Irvine CA.
