Is it just me or do you also find it interesting that the jailer has a f-in hole in his chest whereas the arbiter is an empty husk with just a spherical soul-bloob inside her, right where the jailer has his hole? Seems like to puzzle pieces that would fit together to me. Also, she's the key to his escape? And the entire expansion is about death and soul magic and the power of souls? We also know that souls can be split and the Primus warns us that the jailer cannot reach the sepulcher, which is a burial chamber or container for a religious artifact (like a relic or perhaps, as this is fantasy, a soul. I could definitly be reading too much into it but still, seems like a lot of coincidences falling neatly together if you ask me. Kinda sus

wow, that first scene.
Some of the lore of this game really would be pretty bad ass, if the heroes didn't totally trivialize something on the scale of gods by being able to over come them by hitting them with swords and small balls of ice real gud. Theres no way the -champions- should succeed where other characters of divinity have failed, like against sargarus. No fking way should the story have reasonably allowed for them to win that fight, in that direct of a way.
Its kinda cool, but it all being written around the playable characters is kinda ruining it.

Bro, the player chars can't be scrubs anymore. Lorewise, how is the player character able to resonate with a stone in the maw that takes you to Orobos and has so much power? Oh no, they're going the anime route and will probably say that player characters are mortal souls possessing a fragment of the first ones' power. Hopefully I'm wrong. Why couldn't they just say that the stone reacts to you because you're mortal? Oh well, this space's story is interesting but it might get too anime by the end.

Archon: -Each mortal must choose a covenant. -
Winter Queen: -And then when our realms have regained their strength, we will stand together. -
Player: -Why don't I just carry all four of the covenants to victory at once? You know like a free agent? We're working towards the same goal afte--
-Blizzard possesses the Arbiter-
-Blizzard casts you into the Maw-
-Blizzard logs out-
The Voice: -Ahem, next candidate please.

Eternal Ones - -Are you sure? We have lots of. -
Me - -Did I Stutter? I said Night Fae! Besides They have my favorite prey - undead Vykul. Oh; and they're the only covenant not to be total assholes. -

I like all 3 leaders in their own way, from what i've seen so far. I'm really curious to learn more about Primus the missing leader of Maldraxxus. Also i believe that they are going to try to make a redemption story for Denathrius down the line at some point, to make a scene with all 4 leaders in the presence of the Arbiter.

A lot of people say that, the eternal ones (the pantheon of death) are stronger than the titan's pantheon. And personnaly i dont think so. Titan are physically stronger to begin with (just check their size compares to the eternals ones) and they can create worlds. One shot old gods and destroy planet. I dont know.

she said -each mortal has to choose a covenant-. Very rare characters will speak as if it it's not a single player game. That's usually in dungeons or raids. In a cutscene revolving only your character? ok. It's been -this maw walker- and not -maw walkers- lol.

I still don't understand, how exactly did Denathrius cause the drought? He didn't shut the arbiter down, nor did he send all the souls directly to the maw, he only collected and hoarded anima from his own people, so how did he cause the drought for all of shadowlands? Enlighten me.

2: 19 this just killed the speculation of the Winter Queen's sister. if Kyrestia the Firstborne of Bastion just reffered to Sire Denathrius as her -brother-. the sister that the Winter Queen refers to is Kyrestia the Firstborne.

Kyrestia: With the Primus gone and Denathrius a traitor, our pantheon has been broken. and doom comes for the Shadowlands.
Champion: Pfff. not my first, and not the last end of the world.

Choosing a covenant makes no sense, you already helped and befriended all four anyway. The expansion would probably be better for not forcing the player into another mandatory system.

Is it just me or does that star shape on one of the platforms look similar to the platform the Jailer was chained to in the cinematic if you were to look at it from above?

I have this feeling that Denathrius is not evil. He just wants to topple the order of things in the Shadowlands and land in a better world than he has been for the last eternity.

Both: -what! -
-Denathrius smirks-
Denathrius: -Heh, it seems it wasn't lifeblood that entered the maw, after all. -

The denizens of shadowlands and the eternal ones have no concept of Business Continuity planning. They need the advice of mortal world consultants for that

Anybody noticed that when the chamber was shown from above, before the Arbiter stands a grand pillar which is broken. Surely that was the Jailer's seat

What if Arthas was rescued from the Maw and became a Revendreth Council member? Along with Kael'thas and Garrosh? Under the new rule of Revendreth.

At least you get to skip the quest lines for your alts, that way you can immediately choose each covenant to continue the story. But the time-gating.
