Compare this to the account in Psalms 104: 8, 9: 8-Mountains ascended and valleys descendedTo the place you established for them. 9-You set a boundary that they should not pass, That they should never again cover the earth. Does the discoverer of plate tectonics knew of these verses written about 2, 500 year ago about how the planet was able to accommodate waters from Noahs flood? Food for thought!

If the continents move 10 centimeters every year and if you live to a hundred years old the plate moves 1000 centimeters. Which is 393. 7 inches which is about 33 feet.
