Honestly. I've tried reaching out before. I've tried contacting mental health professionals in my area, but it always goes nowhere. Even right now, I'm on a wait list to hear back from an online/phone-counselling organization. I've been waiting for almost a month now and haven't heard an update.
It feels like an additional hurdle that just knocks you back down. First, you need to admit to yourself you need the help which can be a challenge. If you bolster the courage to do the research on resources around you and finally reach out, you've got to go through insurance woes, availability, and wait times to even try finding help and even then the person you see may not be right for you, so you may need to do it all over again. And then, there's the dread of how you'll have to open up to this person on parts of yourself you may be uncomfortable about or scared of and what they'll have you push yourself through in that process.
It's like going on a mountain climb expedition. Packing your bag, learning the route and everything about hiking, walking to the base of the mountain, and then the therapy is the mountain climb itself. The entire way there feels like you're looking up at the summit, seeing how high it is and already knowing it'll be tiring, but hoping it has the answers you're looking for. And then things keep setting you back and the summit is no closer than it was before.
It feels daunting already to work up the energy and courage to reach out. And when you reach out and find no hands out there trying to reach back. it's disheartening and frustrating and dissuades you until you reach another breaking point to trudge through it again, hoping this time it'll stick.

I would love to have somebody to talk to about my thoughts and/or feelings, however, my parents don't want me seeing a therapist or a counselor most likely because of the money, and they are not supportive at all of my problems. Nearly every day I have meltdowns from all the stress piling up from school and my parents. Sometimes I'll tend to bottle up my emotions and let them all out at the same time, whether it's from playing a game or even just talking to my parents I'll always end up exploding or bottling my emotions further. The only thing I would want more in the world is for someone to really be there for me. The worst part about all of this is the fact that I can't do anything about it.

I hold a lot of grudge towards certain therapists.
When I had the occasion after one relocalized, I stopped.
Treatments have never been really uneffective on me. And now I start to be mean, angry, more and more.
I missed my sister's birthday cause of these lows that are coming again and again and again.
I also feel tired, I see nightmares etc.
Fortunately, I was right, and the ASD (autism) was a reality no one saw. Some therapists saw I had legitimate arguments, and we engaged a diagnosis.
Despite their flaws, some therapists are good, although I met some I added in my black list.
I'm currently seeing an special educator in ASD who can help me, maybe it's a start.

Well let's see why I dont tell anyone that I have slight (not really real I guess) Suicidal thoughts and maybe (idk anymore) anxiety
I'm a 13 yr girl who's life is fine even though I dont feel fine I'm just. sad for no reason there are so many people who have more problems and are okay! Yet I'm not but it's not like anyone would believe me plus my sister just started to take depression and anxiety pill so my mom and dad would. not think about it to much. I have only told one person (irl) that I'm not a happy person and I kinda ruined that friendship (I dont thing I should make friends any more v) annnd most would brush it off as me saying what a lot of 12-16 yrs say

I have a psychologist but shes on maternity leave and I really really really dont want to start the whole process a THIRD time (my first one retired) but its really difficult because Im getting worse. We are trying to talk about going to see a psychiatrist too to get some medicine but communication is difficult since she has a literal baby to take care of.
And trying to reach out to friends and family is super difficult because I feel a burden and dont want to inconvenience anyone. So most of the time I keep stressing alone, walking in circle while trying to distract myself enough to calm down. Terrible for the long run but better than nothing.

I am scared to get help. I am a child and I have gotten school counseling. The counselor told me that she wouldnt tell my parents what I was going through but she did after a while. I trusted her and now I have probelms talking to adults about my problems and our school now has a thing where children are grouped and put into a class with a teacher to get a group counseling. The teacher I was grouped with didnt know anything about mental health and every time I went to that class I kept getting overwhelmed and start crying. I want to get help but Im scared because every time I tried to reach out to an adult I get really scared and overwhelmed.

My resources were my two best friends but. unfortunately they became triggers for me cause they both turns out to be connected to her not directly but they are. and I did try to get help from them before they became triggers for me but it didn't help me that much. and now I can't talk to them if I do try to reach to them I'll will be triggered and I'll feel more bad and hurt. and. you know whenever I go out every girl passing by seems like her so I just try to avoid going out. but I know I can heal myself just need to leave this City that's my only best option left now.

I wish I could get help even my friends advice me that I need help. I even told my parents twice but they called it a phase or its nothing just being dramatic
Thats why Ive been distanced with my parents plus issues with my dad being a pain with my mom
And causing her pain, making her sometimes snap at me which is understandable
Ive been feeling down like depressed and bottled up emotions
I really want the help but Im just afraid what my parents will say because The only people I talk to what I feel are my friends and thats all

I told my family about how I might have anxiety because I've been suffering for about 4 years now without help, they didn't take it seriously and gave their experiences of anxiety which made everything worse, they said the one thing I didn't want to hear from them, It's all in your head. I tried hinting and telling my friends but nobody tried asking, helping or even comforting me. I'm still struggling now, even if I find myself laughing or smiling my mind just comes at me and goes you're laughing but deep down you know you're not happy.

I kinda interest if they could make a video off of how to seek out help. Cause for me it was incredibly hard, mostly trying to say it towards your parents. Cause I believe most people who have anxiety and depression tell their friends but hide it away from their parents. The friends that had big signs of it refused in trying to tell their parents or didnt think they would care. Many of my friends also lost interest in school in general, not caring in finding help for education. Idk, eeeee.

I reached out for a mental health clinic once when I was close to suicide.
Therapy sessions were expensive and no different to interrogations with repititive yes/no questions and a freezing room.
People shunned me for a short time for being suicidal.
Well, I'm still suicidal everyday.
There is nothing wrong when asking for help but then again, help is often available to everyone, not always.

I have a friend who stopped talking to me for a while because she needed time away from me specifically. She has still talked to a few other friends but I didnt know if I did anything wrong. She texted my mom a few days later and said she'd give me a second chance and that she just needs some alone time. I plan on talking to her next week but I don't know how to approach her, I dont know what to do.

I know that I'm supposed to seek help, but how do I even seek help in the first place? Sure, I can ask someone trustworthy but do you really expect that I can approach someone? I honestly don't know how to seek help, because I'm so shy, no matter how bad the situation is. I just can't do it.

I really wish I could get help, but my parents are always trying to find ways of invalidating what I'm feeling to turn it into something meaningless and temporary. I've been feeling empty and hopeless for so long, but no one listens or cares about me

I accidentally said don't make charges to my account and set it to remember my choice, so now I can't reach the kids help phone, but I need to because I'm afraid my friend is going to commit suicide soon and I can't let that happen

So I have all the symptoms of psychotic depression but my parents refuse to believe it. They think its just a phase i'll get over but in the real sense i'm tearing myself apart but i'm still a minor so I cant do anything by myself.

My family can't afford any good care, but my mental health is slowly crumbling. I ask for help, but my mother says it's too expensive and my counseler at school said that I need a long term therapist, not a school counseler.

I have strict parents reaching out is just gonna get me in trouble, there gonna take my phone away which is the only thing keeping me alive bc of online friends, and its a good way to get rid of bad thoughts.

Easy access to help is not the problem
The problem is being able to afford it in the long run. I know I suffer from depression but I can't afford the expensive treatment
